I’m so happy my kids have the opportunity to take lessons with Yes for Chess. I have 2 older sons that have been doing lessons and have learned a lot. It has given them opportunity to interact with others (besides in their online gaming). A time to exercise their minds and strategize. I also have a 6 year old that just started a few months ago and loves it! She looks forward to her classes and enjoys even when she loses. The instructors are engaging and friendly.

Yes for Chess is a great class! My daughter was enrolled in-person and then Covid, so she's been doing online classes with them for a year and a half - she loves them! She loves the teachers and the classes and strives to get her chess rating higher and higher:) In-person or online, Yes for Chess is fantastic for any chess player - beginner or advanced!

My daughter has been playing chess for 3 years. What started out as a once a week after school activity, has turned into an everyday obsession. This program has taught my daughter the fundamentals of chess in person and continues to teach her how to improve her skills through online learning. The chess tournaments offered multiple times per week allow my daughter test her skills that she has learned. My daughter has improved tremendously since day one and continues to do so. Nick, James, and Luis have provided excellent guidance with their knowledge and strategies. My daughter hopes to play chess for many years to come.

My daughter has been playing chess for about four years now and absolutely loves it! After her chess class she talks about the lesson she learned that day and tells me about the endgame in the games that she played too. She has said that doing chess online has actually helped her learn a lot it better and love it more because she was given more opportunities.

The pandemic had forced my husband and I to find new activities for our girls to enjoy that would keep them socially distanced but still provide some interaction with other kids. Yes for Chess was the perfect activity for that. Learning to play chess helped them exercise their brains by teaching them how to problem solve and plan. It also gave them an opportunity to interact with other people. Nick is such a great instructor, he made the lessons easy to understand and didn’t make learning new thing overwhelming. Even when not in class, they play chess with each other and with us. And win or lose, every move they make on the chess board has boosted their self confidence. I have recommended Yes for Chess to so many of my friends and will continue to do so.
