*First and foremost this review isn't just for this location but allnthw Washington Hospital locations in the surrounding area near Civic Center Drive* Horrible experience that took place back in November 2021. Took longer to post due to discovering that I'm running out of options in getting my medical bill reduced or even removed due to negligence. Staff cannot find the vein for CT scan and takes a very long time to find somone qualified to find such vein. Also the entirety of Washington Hospitals care only about money and not the patients. They don't communicate thoroughly enough with insurances and claims something is covered when it's not. Now I'm in a fight with them over a 7500 dollar bill that they messed up because they said it was covered when it was not. And my insurance did say my policy didn't cover it but instead of my insurance or hospital telling me it's not covered they let me perform the CT scan. Overall don't go there. Soon I'll be using Kaiser and at least they'll tell me honestly what's covered and whats not. They should be sued. And let's not forget this isn't the only time they did this. I've had surgery related to the CT scan afterwards and my anesthesiologist wasn't covered with my new insurance I got months later. In short both instances they showed their complete incompetence in handling insurance claims. Oh and if my CT scan wasn't covered by my old insurance I could've just waited a few months, due the test with my new insurance and all they had to do was tell me it wasn't covered. If I could I would give them zero stars. I fell sorry for my Vascular specialist since she did an excellent job with my vein stripping but the entire Washington Hospital organization is very unorganized and greedy and they won't let you make payments unless it fits their policy and you must pay it with a set time limit like your medical bill is a visa credit card, house payment, or a car payment. Would only go there if I'm actually dying and they write a contract in blood that I'll only be charged a set amount and my insurance will cover the rest. Until then....DON'T GO THERE!

Since I went on Medicare I always use Washington imaging center for my x-ray, cat scan, and MRI requirements. They are courteous and professional. I never had to wait hours, or seen people told to come back the next day after waiting for hours (happened at a competitor). Getting a CD burned for a copy of the results is just a phone call or visit to the imaging library (they are always happy to help). This is not true with any of their competitors. Stanford commented on the quality of the cat scan I had since Washington imaging center went an extra step to make sure there was excellent contrast. I highly recommend Washington Hospital Imaging Center services especially if you are on Medicare

The technician did not know what she should be testing for. I went for a doppler ultrasound for my leg. This is supposed to check for clots in all the veins - superficial and deep. I had trouble in my superficial vein. Even after I told her that, she stuck to only the deep vein ultrasound and found “no issues”. Considering how dangerous a clot in the veins can be, I was utterly shocked at the lack of knowledge of the technician on a fairly common procedure. It was a total waste of time and money. Even my doctor was surprised and ordered another test, but thankfully with a different place this time. Think twice before going here.

I was told I couldn't proceed any further into the building to get an xray because I said I had a cough and some chest congestion. My doctor had told me to go there to get an xray done for my chest, and when I got there this really rude lady at the desk gave me this really bad attitude problem where she said I couldn't go any further. I'm sick and I needed to get in for an xray, but because I'm sick I can't get any help. I guess I'm supposed to remain sick and suffer.
