I have been coming to the United Dental Group for a few years now. 1. The front desk (Rebecca, Sandy, Tina) is very good at scheduling the appointments. There's not much waiting during the visit. I have had different dental insurance throughout the years, and they always know how to deal with each and every one of them. 2. Their dental hygienist does a through job cleaning your teeth. 3. Their dental assistants are also very friendly and knowledgeable. 4. Dr. Uyehara is a soft-spoken person. He always explains every step of what he will be doing during the teeth cleaning and exams. 5. Dr. Thai is an honest man, and his dental surgery/work is a top-notch. When it comes to dental surgery, he is creative and trying different ways to save your teeth first before anything else. In addition, he would literally spend 20 mins with you and explain to you why you don't need unnecessary dental work done. Overall, I feel confident visiting them whenever I have dental problems.

Dr. Thai the best. The best and most friendly dentist that i have seen in bay area. Dr. Thai is very professional in his work. Very welcoming staff. The best part i like about United Dental Group is that they dont do (Get your teeth cleaned) BS with you like some other greedy doctors. These people are very honest and caring. I referred many family and friends to Dr. Thai.

We have been with United Dental for more than 6 years. Dr. Thai is very professional and he goes above and beyond his patient's needs. The staff is very cordial.

I have been getting my dental care at United Dental Group for years. I had Dr Thai as my primary dentist. I have never had any doubt of his expertise and professionalism. As for pricing, I did not have to worry about any copays or billing, the office staff is very helpful with billing my insurance. The most impressive experience I had with the team is the care for my grandma's dentures. My grandma has Alzheimer's disease. We were very worried as she started to refuse wearing her dentures and was not able to eat well. She was not able to explain why she didn't want to wear it. We then took her to Dr Thai for a consultation. Dr Thai immediately identified the problem, her gums were shrinking and the decade-old dentures no longer fit, it was giving her pain. With only ONE major appointment, her teeth were cleaned and molds were made for her new dentures. Dr Thai was extremely patient and explained to us (and to my grandma!!) on every step he was going to do so we were never in the dark. When we came back for a second appointment, Dr Thai gave her a fitting, meticulously adjusted her dentures, wow, my grandma DID NOT complain a bit and has been wearing her new dentures since then (2-3 years already!). My entire family could not thank Dr Thai enough. Without his help, I don't think grandma will stay healthy and happy :) Too bad I am moving out of town, but I do not mind coming back twice a year for biannual checkups. It's very hard to find a dentist that one can trust.

Had a crazy long root canal. The patience that was displayed by the staff was hands down first class. I have recommended 3 people already. As long as I’m in the bay this will be my dentist office! I am so glad my regular dentist was out of the office sick when I had tooth emergency. It lead me to this office.
