I went to see miss Pooja Prasad her assistant Eric Chen, was explaining what was going on. He first said that immunotherapy and used with keytruda could not have caused the heart failure. I explained to him I've been reading all the reviews and there are a lot of people who have had the same problem. Then he said yes there are other cases right after he just said it couldn't have caused it. I feel he was trying to miss lead by thinking keytruda could haven't caused it so not to bring any bad results to the drug. I felt he was trying to manipulate me so I walked out. I received my after-visit summary. They wrote- Overall higher suspicion for meth associated cardiomyopathy rather than pembrolizumab associated cardiotoxicity. Our plan was to optimize heart failure treatment given patient was volume overloaded and also increase diuretics, sure I used meth in the past but I didn't have the problems I have now(liver, thyroid, or congestive heart failure. I feel by them writing this there trying to pass the blame.
