Stopped by U-Haul on Thornton Avenue in Fremont to buy moving boxes, and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helped me find the right box sizes for my move. They had a good selection in stock, and checkout was quick and easy. The store was organized, and the whole process was hassle-free. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for moving supplies.

The Fremont Uhaul location is the BEST Uhaul place ever. I'm a single mom, and was scared, and unsure of myself with driving a 20 after. Uhaul truck! But the Uhaul staff at the Fremont location was awesome, the made sure to adjust my seat (I'm 5 ft. short), adjust the mirrors, instruct me on how to turn and handle the truck. I need up having an easier move because of Fremont Uhaul. I can't Thank them enough.

The storage gate is a nightmare. The keyfobs rarely, if ever work. And now the keypad is having issues with the bottom row of the keypad. Myself and another person both complained to one of the staff walking around in the lot and he became snippy and blamed the issue on us not having our account in order. (Both of us, up to date customers) He then said, "Oh. It's been giving us issues this past month. You have to press hard." Again blaming the issue on us customers. In my honest opinion, this is severely unprofessional. I'm now seriously thinking of moving out due to this event. So now, I went in the office to voice a complaint to the manager and the same guy who was outside, called "next" to the counter (me). I asked for the manager, he told me he wasn't in the office, and asked why. I told him I wanted to voice a complaint. He asked about what. I told him, about him. Then he started getting aggressive and argumentitive. Again... still blaming the issue on the customer. It got to the point I just had to walk out. He also made some uncouth remark as I walked out that I didn't really hear. Yeah... I'm switching out of this storage as soon as I can.

Nice U-Haul truck rental service. They set us up with ease and answered all our questions and concerns. The staff were professional, nice and friendly and offered practical suggestions for our needs. The truck was clean and what we needed. They even had a Keurig for some much needed coffee in the waiting lounge. Thank you U-Haul!

This is a very central location with easy access from highway and heart of Bay area. Very friendly management. We use Uhaul rentals to access residential areas in SanFrancisco area gor our customers moving from Toronto San Francisco. Uhaul has variety of packing supplies and truck sizes.
