I had an amazing lunchtime experience today at Togos in Fremont. My Sandwich was prepared with perfection, by Lida. Not only was the food perfect but it was actually served. What I mean by that is, Lida Carried on a conversation with me the entire time she was making my sandwich. She made eye contact she smiled. She made me feel heard and validated. She offered me advice which was heartfelt, and she did all the smile on her face, which was contagious by the way. Because I sat down with a smile on my face. Needless to say, I was left feeling warm and happy. If more people today in the service industry were like LIDA you’d have a lot happier customers. I enjoyed my moment with Lida.

Togo's is a great fastfood sandwich spot. I was at the gym across the street and decided to grab lunch here. This particular establishment was clean and the service was fast. It was also extremely spacious with additional outside seating. I grabbed the 6 inch club sandwich and it was quite filling. If you're in the area and need a quick bite to eat, check em out. I'm only giving them a 4 because I wish they toasted their sandwiches without requesting.

I really want to like this place. I do. I've been going ever since I was 5 years old, but this establishment has gone downhill significantly since then. One time, I ordered a philly cheesesteak with extra meat. I opened up my sandwich and there was no meat whatsoever. I gave them the receipt and the guy behind was like, "so it's supposed to be made with chicken." I had to specify that it had to be made with beef. I understand mistakes happen, and they can be big and small ones. Today, when I ordered, they forgot one of my sandwiches. I had a meeting to get to and I just barely made it on time. When the philly cheesesteak incident happened, I just blew it off. But this has gone too far. Togos, please. Check your Fremont location before you wreck yourself.

The past few times I've gone here I've been disappointed. They used to put so much meat on their sandwiches that sometimes it was just too much meat, but now they hardly put any meat on their sandwhiches. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and got barely one slice of meat, it was mostly lettuce and stale bread. To top it off, the whole meal cost me $13 bucks! The only positive thing is the service was quick and they were friendly, but otherwise not worth it.

Ordered a veggie sandwich, cheddar broccoli soup, and a veggie wrap. Sourdough bread of the sandwich was the single worst bread I've ever had in my life. Stale and extremely chewy. Quality of ingredients was okay. Soup was thick and loaded with cheese, which was great but the last 30% portion was waay too salty. Wrap was perfect though! Restrooms are out of order which also sucks. Service was also far too slow for an empty place and not even any online orders.
