My son started at The Learning Tree just before turning two, and we had an amazing experience right from the beginning. Teacher Linda went above and beyond to help him feel comfortable during his first preschool experience. The small class size really helped him get individual attention while also learning independent play. He later transitioned to the next class with Teacher Tammy, Teacher Bhu, and Teacher Shirley, and continued to thrive and learn new skills. All the teachers, including Teacher Carol and Teacher Marlena, are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. My son can be a fussy eater and sometimes resists naps, but the teachers are always supportive and encouraging. It’s clear they genuinely care about the kids. Even my 4-year-old attended for just a week during Spring Break and loved it so much that he keeps asking to go back. Highly recommend The Learning Tree!

We’ve been part of The Learning Tree community for years through summer programs, preschool, and afterschool care, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. My daughter is Deaf, and finding the right environment for her—one where she is fully included, supported, and able to thrive—has not been easy. The Learning Tree is incredibly special because it provides exactly that. If it didn’t exist, I honestly don’t know where we would go. There simply isn’t another program like this that offers the same level of support for Deaf children and their families. The teachers and staff are exceptional—warm, attentive, and deeply committed to every child. Communication is thoughtful and inclusive, and it’s clear that ASL and Deaf culture are not just accommodated but genuinely valued and integrated into everyday learning. The programs themselves are engaging and well-run, with great activities that support both learning and social development. The facilities are excellent, and everything is organized in a way that makes families feel welcome and supported. One of the things I especially appreciate is how inclusive the environment is for all children. Hearing children benefit just as much—they’re exposed to American Sign Language, which is an incredible form of language enrichment, and they grow up with a natural understanding that Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals are simply people—fully capable, fully included, and part of the same community. That kind of early exposure matters. And on top of everything else, the program is reasonably priced, which makes such a high-quality, specialized environment more accessible to families. The Learning Tree is more than a preschool—it’s a community, and it has made a meaningful difference in our lives. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

We’ve been attending the learning tree for more than a year now and we cannot be happier! I literally toured most of Fremont preschools and this is the only one I felt yeah I can send my kiddo here! The staff is super welcoming and flexible, they offer a lot of flexible options that worked best for our family and honestly I couldn’t find it elsewhere. We love the large classes where the kids are grouped as per activity, also the kids get plenty of outdoor playtime as the school has a huge outdoor area. We loved that the staff are open to learn more about different cultures. Highly recommended and we are beyond happy to be part of the learning school family

My daughter has been attending The Learning Tree for almost a year now and we are so happy with her growth academically but more importantly socially. She used to be very shy and timid and didn’t make a lot of friends. Since joining TLT she has friends and is more comfortable with her peers. Thank you to Alee for her consistent support and always hearing us out. Thank you to Teacher Carol, Teacher Marlena and Teacher Danielle for always giving our little miss the boundaries she needs but also all the love and kindness. Definitely recommend this place!

As a working parent, finding a childcare program that doesn't just tolerate your family's needs but genuinely celebrates them can feel nearly impossible. The Learning Tree in Fremont is the rare exception. From the moment you walk in, it's clear this isn't a corporate chain churning kids through a system. It's a warm, family centered community. The hours are thoughtfully designed with working parents in mind, giving you the flexibility to actually do your job without the constant clock watching anxiety. What truly sets The Learning Tree apart is its commitment to every child. They've built a genuinely inclusive environment where children of all abilities, including Deaf and hard of hearing kids, are supported to reach their fullest potential. That level of intentionality tells you everything about the values this school holds. Inclusion isn't a checkbox here; it's a culture. The teachers are experienced, warm, and deeply invested in each child as an individual. You'll drop your little one off and, somewhere between your morning meeting and afternoon deadline, realize you haven't spent the day worrying because you just know they're okay. More than okay. They're thriving. Beyond academics, kids enjoy spacious classrooms, a large outdoor playground, and enrichment activities like dance and soccer. It's the kind of place where children genuinely don't want to leave at the end of the day, which, for a working parent, is the highest possible compliment.
