I usually don’t write negative reviews, but after multiple experiences, I feel the management needs to be aware of the behavior of one of their employees. I have visited this location several times, and on at least four separate occasions, the same employee has been incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Today, we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt again, hoping he was just having a bad day previously. However, the pattern continues. He did not listen to our specific requests, failed to provide the proper utensils/napkins needed to actually eat the food, and his attitude was completely unacceptable. My friends have had the exact same experience with this individual. Customer service is just as important as the food itself. It’s disappointing to be treated this way repeatedly. We will not be returning to this store. I hope management addresses this behavior so other customers don’t have to deal with this.

Tried the falafel bowl at The Halal Guys. The falafel was crispy and flavorful with fresh toppings and sauces. Food was filling and tasty, but the staff experience was not good.

Love Halal Guys and this location every time when I have been there service has been so good, friendly and welcoming vibe of the staff it’s nice to see that from a customer aspect. Thank You Adam who helped us today very friendly and helpful guy, much appreciated.

Tried this Halal Guys location and… yeah, easy pass. I showed up 45 minutes before closing—not exactly last call, right? Somehow still felt like I walked in 30 seconds before they locked the doors. I had a “free platter” redemption and asked what it included. My guy hits me with, “read it.” Appreciate the guidance, champ—but it literally just says free platter. That’s it. No cheat codes, no fine print, nothing. Then he asks what protein I want. I say beef & lamb. Suddenly that doesn’t qualify… which would’ve been great to know when I asked what qualifies. Whole vibe was like I interrupted his personal Netflix time instead of trying to buy food during business hours. What’s wild is the Halal Guys spots in San Jose and Santa Clara are solid—so this one just feels like the off-brand cousin nobody talks about. Bad Halal Guys. Respectfully… I’ll eat elsewhere.

I visit this chain since it was a cart in New York. The cart owner was a kind man. The service at this place is awful. I came here one day and ordered my usual combo plate. There was a staff member (blonde haired male) that took my order. He was very rude and had an attitude like he didnt want to be there. I ordered 1 combo plate and 1 gyro. He started the combo plate and after putting rice inside the plate stated very rudely that there was no rice despite there being rice. He then just walked off and left us standing there for what seemed like too long. We decided to leave.
