Tesla service is direct and upfront on what is needed with their estimated quotes. Also, using their ap for appts and communications were easy. This service location is easy to find and can be seen on the freeway. They have a nice lounge waiting area that offers free WiFi and drink or snacks. Dropped off our Y for a system climate control issue and they gave us a free loaner Tesla Model 3 to use for the day as they couldn't give an estimate when it will be ready. They were busy for a Saturday but good communication via ap and text. Price for just a diagnosis is not included in the cost of repair and repair costs can be pricey but better than a whole bunch of maintenance for a gas car. I would come back here for service again.

I’m leaving this review to document a prolonged and unacceptable service experience for my Model S at Tesla Service Fremont working with Jonathan from Service, Jose Valdespino, and Nicklos Vessey. The core issue was that after paying $2500 to fix my suspension due to hitting a pothole, Smart Summon did not work. After months of back-and-forth I was ultimately told the problem was firmware-related with no service-level fix and no ETA for a software update. My Model S has been in service for an extended period (2 months) due to Smart Summon not functioning. After weeks of delays, inconsistent communication, and repeated “ready for pickup” messages, I was ultimately told the issue is firmware-related with no fix and no ETA. The final write up of my service lies and says that they were unable to reproduce the issue and to try another location. Despite being notified multiple times that my vehicle was ready, when I went to pick it up the car was partially disassembled, which was completely unacceptable. Follow-up communication was slow or nonexistent, and I had to escalate to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and California Attorney General just to get basic updates. I pay for FSD features, and when a core feature is broken with no repair timeline, that creates a serious value and trust issue. This experience showed a lack of accountability, poor communication, and unacceptable service standards for a premium vehicle. What I expected vs. what happened: — I expected: (1) Clear ownership of the issue, a repair plan, and a realistic timeline (2) Accurate pickup status (3) A vehicle returned in completed, safe, and presentable condition (4) Compensation or meaningful accommodation if Tesla cannot fix the issue — Instead, I experienced: (1) Prolonged delays with limited transparency (2) Conflicting communication (3) A “no fix / no ETA” outcome (4) A pickup attempt where the car was not remotely in pickup-ready condition Overall: This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had with any automotive service provider, especially given the premium nature of the vehicle and the recurring subscription model. The most concerning parts were the lack of accountability, lack of timely communication, and the fact that the vehicle was presented as “ready” when it was physically disassembled. My recommendation is to choose a different service center. Jonathan from Service, Jose Valdespino, and Nicklos Vessey should be ashamed in themselves for how poorly this experience went.

Had two service visits here for the same windshield visibility issue on a new model Y due to uneven surface on the windshield likely due to manufacturing defects. They said they would replace it. But they didn’t and only cleaned it in both visits. The issue is still unresolved. During the second visit, they likely also damaged the front bumper with some shop tool due to poor handling.

Senior advisor Bryan was great. He was professional, down to earth, and easy going. He not only addressed all my husband's concerns but also made sure he could be accommodated with a loaner model 3 which he always wanted to try. Great experience overall.

Tesla Service Fremont is my favorite service. It is easy to book a service appointment. The people are extremely professional, nice, and knowledgeable. Stan, one of the managers, spent a lot of time with my wife and me, answering all our questions during our last appointment. We had some deep technical questions about the battery life. We continue talking to Steven. He even came to our car, parked outside, to show us some of the settings that we need to adjust. Thank you very much, Stan and Steven.
