While in the process of getting a new car, Eduardo Alvarez helped us with our car loan. Anytime we had a question, he was extremely responsive and kept us updated whenever part of the process went through or was approved. We had a great experience with him and got a good interest rate here compared to the dealership!

I’ve been working with Dheepika as my go to contact at Tech CU and she’s been incredibly helpful for all of mine and my family’s banking needs. Truly a pleasure when she reaches out about letting us know incredibly helpful tips! Thank you!

Specific: The people are friendly and very helpful. I am usually recognized by the regular staff there, so it is always nice to feel like I really matter enough for them to remember me. I've always enjoyed doing my banking with TechCU. I like the more personal atmosphere and banking experience I have by getting to sit at a desk with the tellers (rather than standing at a counter at a bank). General: I have always experienced better banking options available through Credit Unions than at banks. Credit unions do not charge fees for everything, like banks do. And Credit Unions, don't play games around when deposits and withdrawals are made in order to generate more fees, like banks do. Credit Unions only require a small sum of money be present in your account at all times in order to keep your account open ($5-$25 has been my experience). Credit Unions offer MANY off its services for FREE, unlike banks which seem to charge for every service offered. My Credit Union accepts legal tender (cash), unlike 1 bank I had dealt with 4 years ago, which would not accept my cash. Credit Unions are often owned by the members, which means we get to vote on the administrators. Issues: My biggest gripes about this place are the location being so far south of where I live and the limited parking. Many years ago, this branch was located in Newark, which was much closer to me, and the parking lot had plenty of parking. That location also had much more light in it, which gave it a more cheerful atmosphere. When will TechCU consider another branch further north?

I have been a member of TechCU for over twenty years and have never regretted it until today when I called customer service and spoke with Divya Srinivas to obtain my husbands member number for a HELOC he recently opened. Divya would not allow me to confer with my husband so that he could be authenticated on the account. All of this because we just wanted our member number in order to pay our loan in time. Divya Srinivas needs to removed from the contact center because she’s not at all customer service oriented. When we were transferred to the manager of customer service, Tram, she simply asked my husband to provide authorization for me to answer the authentication questions, and we finally got what we needed, 30minutes later. This is not at all the customer service I expected after being a loyal customer of Tech CU for 20 years. Divya needs to be removed from the contact center immediately and retrained in the art of customer service.

The only reason I am giving them a 5 star review is solely do to Kenneth Morales. What an amazing young man. If everyone was like this at techcu I might reconsider staying. He is very prompt, understanding and most of all compassionate with the issues I have expressed. You got an awesome employee here on the track to do some great things in customer service. I will only be coming to this branch, even if it is 25 minutes out of my way. Thank you for lifting up my day and believing there is people that actually care at TechCu
