I’ve been quite hearing much about this Mexican restaurant. It’s a very small place that is adjacent to a convenient store where you can just simply walk through it. Clearly wall separating them. I wanted to try horchata, but unfortunately they don’t have it now, which made me have to get a drink from a convenient store next door. Anyways, I wanted to try their quesadillas with birria, which has to be one of the best meats when it comes to Mexican food. Honestly, it’s really good. There doesn’t seem to be much cheese after it was cooked, but naturally it happens. Also, the sides slightly didn’t have meat but that’s fine. I also like how we were given salsa, sour cream, and guacamole as sides. They also discount totcha by applying 50% off every Thursday and of course, Taco Tuesdays ($2 for each taco)! Gotta try their tacos soon. I also want to try their burritos too. Hopefully, when I get back, I get a chance to get horchata because I heard from many people that it’s really good!

Awesome service by staff. Place is inside a gas station and parking was busy. Taco Tuesday and food was fresh. I also had the Chips and Queso. Probably my mistake but the chips were flour chips. Very satisfied with overall stop.

I wish I could give this place a higher rating, but I can’t. The place is located inside a Loop convenience market at a Shell station. There are some tables inside where you can sit. You order at the counter. The staff was friendly. We got 4 tacos (carnitas, chicken, carne asada, al pastor), carne asada burrito, and regular nachos. And fountain drinks. The tacos were unspectacular. The corn tortillas had this weird smooth texture. The carnitas meat was ok but the carne asada and chicken were terrible. Same for the Al pastor. No taste and bad texture (like just chopped up something). The burrito was also just meh. The nachos had a lot of stuff in them and were ok. Chips were actually sturdy enough to hold up to the toppings. The fountain drinks were disappointing. I don’t know if the fountain belongs to Tacos Chidos or if they’re part of the overall Loop market. Tried 3 different soda selections, all were flat. Suggest maybe having better texture (identifiable pieces of meat for other than carnitas) and more flavor. And those corn tortillas- just weird.

I got the burritos and tacos here, they were delicious. There are a lot of options for meat and toppings. I recommend the chipotle tortilla and chipotle sauce. Really helpful staff too, it's a nice environment. Definitely coming back.

We never had tater tot nachos before and we didn’t know it was gonna be like that! We loved the breakfast burrito and my mom enjoyed the flan. Highly recommend a visit on Thursday especially for their half off tachos. Also this is located in the Loop which totally exceeded expectations! Shout out to the manager Spencer and his team spending time with us on Christmas Eve.
