Dr Sara Dobbs is awesome. Both our kids have been going to her for many years now. Their office is very well maintained and they do take sick kids on walk-in basic when they have time

I would give 0 stars if there was an option. High charges for "new patient" visit: I was billed $360 after insurance, which only covered around $50. The cost seemed excessively high for a first-time visit. Unclear billing for visit time: The doctor charged for an additional 30 minutes of consultation, but I was waiting for over 20 minutes before the appointment started. It felt like the billing didn’t align with the actual service time. Customer service/front desk issues: The front desk staff was unprofessional. I had a phone conversation with them that ended abruptly with the staff hanging up while we were still talking. Additionally, I felt that the staff member was not patient when I asked for clarification on my questions. I had to repeat myself multiple times, and the tone of the conversation became increasingly impatient. While I cannot say for sure, this interaction made me feel uncomfortable, and I wonder if there might have been a lack of patience due to factors like communication barriers.

On 02/24/2026 I brough my 11-year-old son to this pediatrics office for his annual well check. He was visited by Dr. Burke. At this moment I just want to share my experience with the billing office (financial perspective). He also received 3 necessary vaccinations. Today (after two weeks) I looked at my insurance account and realized that the office charged my insurance $ 2,233.00, so, that visit costed my insurance $1635.9!! I contacted the office for the explanation, the billing office does not respond, the front desk did not cooperate to have someone call me to explain the reason for this high charge. When I look more carefully, I realized that the office claimed 20 immunizations some cost $211 and some others $34 to my insurance. Something is NOT right.

Stay away from this office. I scheduled three annual check-up appointments for my kids months in advance and specifically asked them to make sure I received reminder text messages before the appointments. Instead, all I got were three “no-show” bills for $50 each. When I called, they falsely claimed that I had opted out of text messages — which is absolutely not true — and then refused to remove the charges because of their “office policy.” To make things even worse, when I called to pay, they suddenly told me there was yet another no-show charge for an appointment I was never even informed about. I ended up paying $200 for absolutely nothing. This office is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Be very careful before scheduling anything with them.
