When I first came to this store, it was 3 different women who were all skilled at their job. Eventually it was just Lori who just knew what the customer wanted without too much guess work. These new owners can cut, but you can tell that they're inexperienced with this kind of work. The man who was cutting my hair kept second guessing himself as he worked around my head, staring at sides to make sure they're even, making extra passes that I don't think cut anything (you normally hear the buzz of the clipper, and then the hair actually being cut. He kept making passes without any sound of the hair being cut). After what was too long of a time, the haircut was just okay. Even then he was asking "is this good, do you want to get a little more off" and then just did it anyways Looking at the photos all posted, they're all from the new owners, and they're mostly the same generic hairstyle, which is a shame. They're already remodelling the place. Not having gotten rid of the photos that were posted up by Lori, but changing out all the fixtures for their own design. In time, I do believe they'll be good owners, but they're not the same, so I don't think they deserve the same reputation Lori built the place

The middle aged man with the glasses does not know how to cut hair. I wish I knew his name. He did a decent job on my fade and asked if i wanted the sides trimmed and i replied "Is one side longer than the other?" And he did NOT understand so he replies with "trim?". I ask the same question 2 more times and he replies with "trim?" both times. I decided to let him trim the sides with the shears, but then i hear clippers turn on and before i can say anything he starts cutting away. He turned my medium fade into a high fade. And one side is higher than the other. HE does NOT understand english at all, and i made the mistake of trusting him. Horrendous first experience at this barber shop. That man will make this place lose alot of business. I only came to this spot because i needed a last minute haicut and my actual barber was not available. Waste of $22.

I had been coming to this barber shop for 16 years. I had no issues I til the new owners arrived. I had taken my kids here and the first time around was okay. We went back about two months later. She asked if we had been there before, and she forgot, which is fine, but this comes up later on. I asked her to keep my youngests hair long enough to style on the sides and top. She starts cutting the sides with a two and i let her know that was too short. She said as soon as we walked in she knew exactly what he needed. Again, she didn't even recognize us but already knew how we wanted our haircut? I ask her to keep it as long as possible at this point. She said she'd been cutting hair for 19 years and she knows what she's doing. She also stated I was making her uncomfortable. I was with my kids. I got up to look at my kids hair. I didn't yell, belittle, talk down or anything. I told her she was cutting my kids hair and I was concerned about him too. After she was done she told me she would no longer cut our hair. I asked why. She said because I made her uncomfortable. I asked her how. She didn't respond to that and just said she knew what she was doing. She also said she didn't speak English well so there issues with communication. I told her I understand but that's no excuse to refuse service because she couldn't understand me or even say how I made her uncomfortable. She was yelling at this point saying I was wrong and it's hard for her because she doesn't speak English well and she knew what she was doing. I told her I understand there's a language barrier and that I could appreciate where she was coming from. I told her I found it unacceptable she couldn't have a conversation with me as a business owner and resorted to having us leave because she couldn't address the issue professionally. At no point did she apologize for her misunderstanding on what we wanted or for her tone. Her husband didn't not say anything during this entire conflict for either side. Even if she cut my hair for free, I wouldn't go back. I appreciate old staff and have found another place for my family's hair cuts.

Thuy and her Husband recently took over this business from Lori, who previously cut my hair for over 3 years. I am very satisfied with the new owners and their work they do. Every time I come in, I can tell that they want to make sure that they do a good job, even if it means taking a little extra time to get the details just right. I'm still a regular!

New owner, but they’re very nice. Seems like the guy is limited in English but they both are very skillful with what they do; haircut. I was reluctant at first, but now I’m comfortable to have either one of them to cut my hair. I’d definitely recommend this barbershop.
