Do not order cake here!!! I ordered online and need to pick up one hour before party. The rude woman said: you don’t call you don’t have your order. No apologies from her or whatso ever. The manager from Safeway was kind enough to offer free one, though we are late. The cake turned out to be totally different that the one on pic. Besides, the woman is so so so rude , she said “ just wait!!” Before I even speak anything to her. She told me why don’t you call people call, while the confirmation email never ever asked me to call at ALL! I will definitely call to complain this specific woman be she almost ruined my kid birthday party, and because ruined my mood for being this rude and so disgusting, and offer no apologies for an apparent their fault. I wish the department can take these complaints seriously as I see I am no the only one leaving a comment like this. If you can only afford this kind of employee working here, close the whole department might be a better idea because I still like the other department of Safeway. And I trust it. That’s why I order ed the cake at first place.

Unprofessional and rude staff. Ordered a cake for birthday. On the delivery day they called that it won’t be available. I asked for explanation and any way out as whole birthday party is in bad shape. the staff hurled abuse at me and shouted “I have not taken this order”. Then he hanged up. I called customer care , who were nice, and they told me that manager will reach out to me. But nobody reached out. It definitely spoiled the birthday’s happiness to some extent.

Don't recommend for ordering cake here. We have very bad experience which spoiled the birthday fun.
