I am pretty gosh darn upset right now. I have been here maybe 20 times in the last 10 months. Yes, I come here about twice a month for lunch. I get a sandwich or one of the prepared deli things like tuna salad, seafood salad, broccoli salad, etc. (I also get stuff for home too. Lunch meat, potato salad, soda, chips, whatever.) Today, I wanted to get a sandwich. So I'm waiting for one of the Safeway people to help me. I'm in the sandwich line, below the Boor's Head sign. But then the guy who was helping people at the fried chicken, french fries counter says, "one line". And he motions over to *his* line, which has maybe 5 people in it. What!?!? I've been here many times before, and the two lines are *always* separate. I've been to *other* Safeways as well, and the lines are *always* separate. So I left in disgust, as I wasn't going to buy *anything* here with that poor customer service attitude. I won't be back. The guy working at the store, doesn't even know how things are supposed to work. He just makes something up on the spot. No. I'll just go to Lucky from now on.

Dear Safeway Management, I am writing to report a disappointing experience I had at the deli in your Fremont (Mission blvd) location today around 9:50 AM. While visiting from out of town, I stopped in for a sandwich. After waiting approximately 10 minutes, I was assisted by an employee named Cecilia. When I asked if Dutch crunch bread was available, she responded dismissively, stating that carrying the Safeway name does not mean every store carries the same items. The interaction continued to be unprofessional as I attempted to order. When I inquired about Swiss cheese, she became visibly frustrated and explained that she was working alone and could not keep up with cutting cheese while managing the register and other duties. When I asked if she was having a bad day due to her tone, she replied, "Whatever," and continued to be confrontational. When I asked to speak with a manager, she identified herself as the manager and accused me of having an attitude, despite my polite interactions with her. Ultimately, I chose to leave without completing my purchase. Regardless of whether the department was understaffed or she was having a difficult day, this was an unacceptable way to treat a customer. I hope this feedback helps improve the service at this location.

They've really embraced the "customers should do the work" ethos. 1 cashier on duty every time I went in, and 3 people watching customers attempt to use the self checkout. With predictable results.

Yesterday afternoon I received poor service. The person's name is Andrea. She has a bad attitude and behaves very badly. Every time I go, she gives me bad service. They should fix this problem with that employee. Thank you.
