Dr. Shinghal is a wonderful doctor. All of his patients speak highly of him as a very professional, skillful, and competent physician, and I completely agree. While he certainly possesses all of those traits, what stands out most to me is how kind, caring, and empathetic he is. I have a history of kidney stones. Dr. Shinghal treated my initial stone in 2019, and recently performed a ureteroscopy to remove a large kidney stone in my left kidney. Between visits and post-surgery, he read and replied to my messages even during off-hours and weekends. The procedure was a complete success, and my urine is now clear after experiencing blood before the surgery. I am incredibly grateful to have Dr. Shinghal as my urologist.

Dr Shinghal was as always very warm and friendly. He put me at ease right away. He asked good questions regarding my overall health. He provided some suggestions that I thought made a lot of sense and I may incorporate. I would definitely see him again.

Dr. Shanghal was on of the best doctors I met. He explained my medical status in details including possible treatment options with great patience. For example, on last year (2025) when I discussed with my health issues, he allowed me to join my daughter(MD) in phone conversation. That was a great help not only in understanding my future treatment but made me more comfortable. I am still under his care. I am strongly recommend him for any patients like me.

I have the good fortune of working with Dr. Shinghal for some serious health problems. He cares about the patients and he works with them carefully explaining the issues and the options in order to help them make informed, optimal decisions. He makes himself available too, for instance: I asked him for a non-urgent advice on a weekend through the medical practice's messaging system, expecting a reply by Monday at best yet he got back to me within the hour, despite it being a Sunday. Also recently we had the type of consultation where difficult news has to be delivered, new, educational information has to be imparted and absorbed by the patient and a course of action has to be planned. He scheduled it after hours in order to be able to allocate as much time as needed, without the pressure of the next appointment. I appreciate him and I highly recommend him.
