Very happy with my nails! Last time I asked them what they could do as usually gel just chips in about 3-4 days, they said they can do builder gel which is different than acrylic, and it lasted almost 3 weeks! Came back all the way from Palo Alto to get them done here again. Helen is great, and very reasonable prices.

Very unsanitary place. On Jan. 13, I had waxing done after mani pedi and the waxing caused serious infection. Ended up going to the dermatologist for treatment. I had to wash area with prescription sulphur and follow with Clindamyacin! She also ripped a huge chunk of my hair which is a real tragedy. It was supposed to be hairline clean up. Also, had minor infection on my nails. Here is photo day 3 and 7. She also just took scissors to trim the sides, so they are stubbly anf irritated. I demand a full refund and reimbursement of my medical.

I remembered why I didn’t return after my first experience here two years ago — unsanitary and disappointing. My nail technician was rude, just like during my last visit. I understand language barriers and that people express themselves differently, but this felt unnecessarily disrespectful. I only wanted regular polish, but she repeatedly pushed gel even after I said no, even comparing me to other clients who “spend more” on gel. What really crossed the line was when my phone slipped and she raised her eyebrows and called me “messy.” I asked her, what do you mean. Then she says you messed up your nail… I’m like NO, I didn’t. That completely put me off. I know I won’t be visiting again.

I am super dissatisfied with the French tip manicure I got today at pretty nails. I came in with my daughter to get our nails done for an event today. The lady that did my nails was a bit shakey but I gave her the benefit of the doubt! She cut my skin in a few areas. During the process I told her I did not like the white tip ROUND and thought she understood me, she kept working without acknowledging my concerns. Anyway this is the WORST French tip I’ve ever had! 3 different workers and the owner looked at my nails and they shook their heads and apologized for the bad look. What was more disappointing is that I was not offered a discount. I paid the full $37. I don’t think she has enough experience. I do not recommend this place.

Pretty Nails never fails!! Nhi (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) is THE BEST!! I always get my nails done by her. She’s a perfectionist when it comes to shaping my nails, and she’s excellent at nail art too!
