You really have to go in the off hours to not catch a huge line. Staff are very helpful and quick, but the store is understaff on cashiers a lot of the time. Long time taking at counter. Less staff. Fish section need more brightness. Dish selection ok. Not much help from staff.

Cat adoption is phenomenal here. The far right wall from the entrance is where the cats are. You can see them all day and play with them through the wall. Although the calendar lists set Adoption days and Meet and Greet days, we weren't forced to wait for that. We filled out the adoption interest form online using the QR code on the wall, and the next day we reached out to see if we could come in early. We got to meet and greet the kitty, as well as adopt her that day. PetsMart also gave us a cat specific coupon book, with discounts on literally absolutely everything we needed to bring home the new cat.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I brought in my 7-year-old Alaskan Malamute for a stay at the hotel and when I picked him up, he had been shaved almost completely without my consent. The haircut was very uneven and so short that I could see the pink of his skin. There was no reason for this because there was only a little bit of matting in the underside. No one contacted me before making such a drastic decision, and I was given no clear explanation afterward. I trusted them with my dog and expected much better communication and care. Very disappointed.

I just came by to PetSmart and it’s been a while since my last visit. They still do pet hotels and cat adoptions, which is good for those who want to own a cat or leave their pets there if you’re on a vacation and that you have no one you know who can take care of them. Also went by the hamsters and areas where they have small pets. Some seemed to be adopted already since I can’t find any of them. This store is good for pet services and other essentials for your pets. I can’t think of any other pet store in Fremont, but this is the one I know so far.

Worst grooming ever. Basically gave him a bath and threw him into a drying kennel. No other services were preformed despite what I ordered and paid for. No drying, no glad cleaning, nails not trimmed, dog soaking wet. Charged me 10 extra for keeping him on the table, cause he kept jumping off, with extra help to dry him but never dried him…. Groomer lied to me when I asked if his nails had been cut because when they walked him out I could hear his nails tapping the ground and examining his paws I found no cut nails. Grooming assistant was signing us out when a phone call came in, he answered the phone and looked at me and said “this is going to take a few minutes I hope you’re not in a hurry.” Excuse me? We were here before you received that phone call, the person on the phone should be the one holding. Waste of $61.
