1-star or less. The teachers are always on their phones and don’t help students to overcome challenges. I see one teacher is on her phone all the time while the student does her thing and doesn’t watch if the student is doing correctly or not. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The facility is also poorly put together.

Not happy with the coaches here because they don’t really put effort in your child’s learning. There are no instructions and coaches are just standing there. As a 3.5 year old, kids aren’t going to ask you questions, you need to guide them. Overall, administration doesn’t focus on coaching and it’s more of a free play. I liked the set-up but it’s not put to effective use. Furthermore, in 1 last month there were 3 different coaches and they don’t seem to be happy about their job.

I want to share my disappointing experience with what I can only describe as the worst gymnastics facility we have ever encountered. I have two daughters, aged 6 and 8, and we decided to enroll them in gymnastics classes here in Pacific West Gymnastics, hoping to see them develop their skills and gain confidence in their abilities. Since September 1, 2023, we have been attending classes once a week, and after 13 long months, I am disheartened to report that neither of my daughters has achieved any level advancement. Despite our consistent attendance and the effort we have put into this, it feels as though we have not made any progress at all. The instruction seems lackluster, and the environment is not as encouraging or supportive as we had hoped. This experience has been incredibly frustrating for both me and my daughters, who were excited about learning gymnastics but are now feeling disheartened. Given our experience, I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. It has proven to be a waste of our time, money, and effort, and I truly believe that there are better options out there for aspiring young gymnasts. If you are considering enrolling your children in gymnastics, I urge you to look elsewhere for a more nurturing and effective program.

One Star Disappointed with Pacific West Gymnastics I enrolled my child at Pacific West Gymnastics with high hopes for a fun and enriching experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. A major issue is the constant presence of parents within the gym. The designated viewing area is often empty while parents crowd the gym floor, distracting both children and instructors. This creates a chaotic environment that hinders the learning process. Additionally, I've observed that the instructors seem overwhelmed, often struggling to give individual attention to each child. With so many distractions, it's difficult for them to effectively teach and supervise. I believe Pacific West Gymnastics has the potential to be a great facility, but it needs to prioritize a safer and more focused learning environment by enforcing the parent viewing policy and providing adequate staffing.

We have loved being a part of the Pacific West Gym family for about 10 years now and when I say family, I am not exaggerating the feeling of inclusion we have always felt with this great local business. We have never had a bad coach. The gym is clean. They offer unlimited make up classes and never charge a registration fee. Staff is professional and caring. We’ve also hosted many parties at the gym and they are loved by all.
