Well when I spotted the Ohlone Deli sign out front I thought ..Oh good a real honest to goodness deli with selections of foods from the Indigenous Natives that occupied this land hundreds of years ago! Was I excited ...Yes I was! I studied the sandwich menu carefully, and decided on two sandwiches from the list of authentic Native American options. I got the Honey Roasted Turkey with Avocado and Sprouts, and a Smoked Turkey with Avocado and Lettuce on the side, and a Coke! The Ohlone Deli is Tops! 5 stars and well worth a special trip! ☆☆☆☆☆

I tried this place for the first time just now on my lunch break since it’s down the road from work. This place was disappointing and the food was nasty. I paid $17 for a hot pastrami sandwich combo and the ingredients just did not taste fresh at all. It was so dry, with no flavor. On top of that, the older man that runs the deli literally was cross contaminating with his same dirty gloves from making the food, to the register, and touching the dirty credit card machine. I was so turned off and disgusted. I had already paid for my food at this point and just ended up giving him my food back after a couple of bites. Don’t go here! Save yourself the trip and money. It’s not worth it what so ever. This place should be shut down!

I ordered a French dip and fries And I was very surprised at quality and quantity of fries I got as well as the meat in sandwich was pretty good. Better than togos for sure. Place looks cluttered but guy was friendly enough and my food was great!

Heard this deli made good pastrami sandwiches, tried it out, as well as fish & chips with my husband! We both loved the chips which were tasty and very crisp. That’s how a fresh crinkle chip should be! Fish crisp and fresh! Wish pastrami was home made, but is was fresh as well. The gentleman from the Mediterranean knows his way around a deli. Say what, baklava, too? All right! Baklava heaven now! Will be back soon! Thanks very much

Been coming here since 2007. Every time I hope it's better, but it's not. Everything I order is extremely subpar. There's not a single stove in sight. Nothing is made in house. Every ingredient is ordered in bulk pre-made from a commercial warehouse and then shoved into a microwave or a toaster oven. The salmon burger, fish and chips, nachos fries, cheese burger, French onion dip. All of these are painfully average and could be made at home with similar quality, if not better. I don't know how they survived covid, but costs must be absolutely minimal for them to still be making a profit. I do respect the grind though. Support your local businesses.
