I got a pedicure here and paid $108 plus a $10 removal fee ($118 total). Less than two weeks later, my middle toenail broke halfway off, causing pain. I eventually had to trim off the broken portion myself, which was both painful and frustrating. I have naturally small toenails, and it appeared that the technician tried to make them look more square-shaped by leaving the sides too wide instead of properly shaping them to fit my natural nail size. As my nails grew out, several of them started digging into the surrounding skin. Even now, multiple toenails are pressing into the sides of my toes and causing discomfort. Before this appointment, my toenails were healthy and I never experienced issues with breakage, pain, or nails growing into the skin. I regularly get pedicures, and at other salons my toenails typically last close to two months without any problems. What is especially disappointing is that this salon advertises services for foot care and problematic nail treatment. My nails were perfectly fine before my appointment, yet after this service I ended up with a broken toenail, pain, and multiple nails that are now digging into my skin. For nearly $120, I expected professional nail shaping and long-lasting results. Instead, I am dealing with pain and damage that I never had before. I would not return and cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

Reply: Do you think I’m stupid? Why would I give you my appointment time and technician name just to invite harassment or retaliation? The reason I didn’t leave a review right away was exactly to avoid being identified and targeted. And stop pretending like you don’t know what happened — it was clearly your boss who did the service herself. Her WeChat name is “MM大魔王,” and she was wearing a face shield, not just a regular mask. She showed up 35 minutes late, had a bad attitude, and did a very sloppy job. All those big claims about “training in Japan and China”? Please — how about starting with some basic professionalism and integrity? This happened a few months ago, but it left such a bad impression that I still feel the need to speak up. I was her first customer of the day, yet she showed up 35 minutes late. To make up for lost time, she rushed through the entire pedicure with shocking carelessness. She filed so aggressively that it wore down to the skin, and she even cut me — I was literally bleeding. The trimming was rough and sloppy, leaving dead skin all over. Several times she got polish on the skin around my nails, and instead of fixing it properly, she told me to go home and “just soak in hot water and rub it off” — completely unprofessional. After the first coat of polish, she clumsily moved the UV light in a hurry, smudging the polish in the process. And rather than admitting fault, she blamed me for “moving my foot” — even though I had been sitting completely still. To make things worse, she was also busy teaching a student during my appointment, splitting her attention and clearly not treating me with care. The whole experience felt rushed, painful, and disrespectful — I felt like I was being used for practice, not treated as a valued, paying client. Absolutely unacceptable.

So happy with how my manicure came out! I asked for something simple nails. Emma was amazing and so sweet. She had some amazingly steady hands and made sure her work wasn't rushed. I love the way my nails came out! I will be going back again for sure.

Wendy is such a great lash technician! I’ve been going to her for about 6 years now. The lashes are natural looking and fluttery and I’m always getting compliments. It’s usually a one hour appointment for refills (1.5 hrs for new set) and reasonably priced. She is able to work with my schedule since I usually can’t keep a regular appointment day/time due to work. She has a room in a quiet area and I’m always falling asleep on the lash table 😅. She used to be in Newark, but this place is quieter and she’s moved to a bigger room. Wendy is also super nice and I will continue going to her!

I had been struggling with an ingrown toenail for a long time sometimes it even hurt to walk, but I kept ignoring it. After my family kept urging me to take care of it, I finally decided to give this place a try, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. Emma was amazing! She was super gentle and really took her time to fix the problem. Not only did she treat the issue, but she also taught me how to take care of my toenails properly at home. Most people don’t go the extra mile like that — sharing tips that could actually mean fewer visits for her, haha. Truly a trustworthy place and a 5-star nail technician. Highly recommend!
