Ms. Jay at Montessori School of Creative Minds (MSOCM) has been a key player in my sons growth as little humans. Her class size is small, so she is able to give individualized attention to each child and help them learn at their own pace. She teaches them Math, Science, History, Culture, Science, and more. Not only does she teach it to them with books, but she has accompanies her lessons with arts and crafts, songs, food, and other fun activities. In addition to academics, she teaches them motor skills and life skills. Ms Jay herself is an awesome teacher. She is very kind, patient, and attentive. We have been truly blessed to have her be our children's teacher.

Ms. Jay was the very first teacher for our elder child, from the age of 2 through 5, and we absolutely loved the Montessori School of Creative Minds (MSOCM). Ms. Jay played a key role in helping our child grow into a well-rounded learner by nurturing development across all areas—motor skills, arts and crafts, rhymes, and early reading skills. She thoughtfully introduces age-appropriate concepts in history, math, science, environmental studies, and more, always ensuring that learning happens through engaging and fun activities. Ms. Jay follows the Montessori curriculum in its true spirit, providing the best possible foundation during these crucial early years. She is truly an exceptional teacher, and we feel incredibly grateful to have found MSOCM for our child.

For a year and a half, Montessori Preschool of Creative Minds daycare was an extension of our home. Ms. Jay was attentive, compassionate, and truly dedicated to early childhood development. Our child gained confidence, independence, and so many foundational skills during this time. Communication with parents is excellent, and the environment is warm, structured, and safe. We feel lucky to have been part.

Ms. J is astute and profound in her dedication to the education, nurture and care to our children's development. When we first researched for our Montessori school during the COVID shelter-in-place, we were graciously lucky to have found this school for our toddlers. Both of our kids were COVID babies, meaning they born around shelter-in-place mandate, which unfortunately secluded our kids from having that usual interactions with other kids. My oldest child attended Ms. J's class in 2021, at 2 years old, and he communicated primarily with signed language and within the first 2-3 months, our toddler was able to speak and verbalized his needs. Over the next 2 years, our child had learn to communicate effectively with peers and emotional intelligence from school work activities which include writing and reading, art work, significant of holiday, cultural celebration, social/cultural values, etc. What makes this Montessori different is that your child will have more attention as the ratio of teacher:child is way less than other schools; meaning your child is guaranteed to have more 1:1 time with Ms. J. We were so impressed and happy with the quality/value that our older toddler achieved at this Montessori that we decided to enrolled our second toddler. I would strongly recommend this Montessori and urge that you discuss the curriculum in details with Ms. J to see if this is the right place for your child.
