Miguel is a great mechanic. Once you find a honest and knowledgable mechanic, be sure to bookmark them. Miguel is that mechanic for me. I have had a high mileage 2006 Porsche 911 for the past 8 years and the suspension was fried. I recently refreshed the entire suspension with new shocks, springs, control arms, end links, and tie rods with Miguel. The car now rides like it did 19 years ago from the factory. Needless to say I am in love with the car and its never driven so well during my 8 years of ownership.

I recently took my car to Midnight Garage for some performance upgrades, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. Miguel and Oscar were fantastic to work with. They took the time to understand exactly what I was trying to achieve and provided solid recommendations to make sure the build was balanced. They took great care of the vehicle and kept me in the loop with continuous updates throughout the process. Really happy with the final results! It’s rare to find a team this professional and communicative. I’m already looking forward to the next project with them!

This is my second time using Midnight garage for my 4runner. The first time was good with no issues, unfortunately this time around was not as good. I really wanted to leave a 5 star review but I have to be honest in hopes that it'll make the owner better for future customers. I requested Miguel's services to install a front bumper, lift kit, new tires, light bar, diff breather kit, and new wheels on my 21' 4runner. I'll list the cons first. Cons: Communication was difficult at times, long periods would go without hearing back from questions or requests. Not the biggest problem but communication is key with customers. Timing was a bigger problem for me, we agreed on a drop off date of Thursday with a Friday afternoon pick up. Upon arriving Thursday I was informed the pick up would have to be Saturday afternoon. Things happen so I understand. However, it was further delayed to 6pm that Saturday due to Miguel not having started the work until the day of. That means my car sat there 2 days while I could have used it back home since it was not being worked on. Again, communication. Most of the work was good, but after inspecting it further after pick up, I noticed a couple flaws, one being a cut on my bumper that is visible beyond where it needed to be cut. I'll attach a pic. While it may not be a huge deal, I'm paying a decent amount of money so it's fair to expect a better outcome. I now have to look at this imperfection every time I walk past my car. The trim that outlines the bumper cut is uneven on the sides so it leads me to believe the cut isn't equal, so I will have to pull off the bumper and trim and see what is underneath. I also requested Miguel to save the front valance since I had someone willing to buy it, he cut it off instead. Granted he discounted the price I intended to sale it for so I appreciate him making it right. I also requested my fenders not be cut for tire fitment. My wife pointed out that they were in fact cut, also very rough and uneven lines. I tested my light bar which is installed on the bumper and it seems to point down to the ground, so I don't think Miguel checked the alignment. After looking at it more, it does appear to be slightly tilted down so I'll have to remove the bumper regardless to take care of it. Pros: Lift is solid, appears level with a good alignment. Miguel did express some concern about the alignment not being perfect but so far it has been good to us. Diff kit appears to be installed flawlessly. Tire and wheels are good to go. Overall I like Miguel and wish him well in his business, but considering how much I paid, I would have expected better service. I feel like he rushed my project. I can't say I'll come back based on this experience but perhaps we can all take it as a learning experience.

What is not to like about Midnight Garage? They are communicative, transparent about their work and are fairly priced. Miguel is very knowledgeable about his craft and as an off roader himself, he was able to give recommendations for next steps for my build. I’m definitely coming back for any additional work I need on my truck. Plus his shop had the friendliest shop dog I’ve met so far!

Miguel is a very professional and friendly guy who does first rate work for your all your automotive needs.  I am impressed with his workmanship and cleanliness with all electrical work he has done for my 4Runner.  He even helped me to troubleshoot a circuit problem for my compressor and switch without hesitation and nailed the problem down switftly. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle in to his shop for work and highly recommend you bring in yours for any modification or installation needs.
