I visited Meet Fresh in Fremont on May 30, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dessert experiences I’ve had. First, the ordering process was unnecessarily complicated. I spent more than 10 minutes trying to figure out how to place my order using the self-service kiosk, and then waited another 10+ minutes to receive my food. When I finally got my hot tofu pudding, I was shocked. What I received was not tofu pudding at all—it looked more like a bowl of tofu soup. The texture was extremely watery and nothing like the smooth, delicate tofu pudding that customers would normally expect. I immediately spoke to the staff and tried several times to explain my concern. Unfortunately, they either did not understand what I was saying or simply chose not to respond. Nobody asked what was wrong, offered an explanation, apologized, or suggested replacing the item. I felt completely ignored. I ended up paying nearly $12 for a dessert that was inedible and left feeling frustrated that I had wasted my time, money, and energy. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that Meet Fresh used to be a very popular dessert shop. In the past, the food quality and service were much better. While the prices have always been on the higher side, this recent visit showed a significant decline in both product quality and customer service. The long wait time is one issue, but the biggest problem is the apparent lack of staff training. A dessert shop specializing in tofu pudding should know what a proper bowl of tofu pudding is supposed to look and taste like. Equally important, staff should know how to respond when a customer raises a legitimate concern. I sincerely hope the owner will retrain the staff, improve quality control, and place greater emphasis on customer satisfaction. Running a dessert business in the Bay Area can be very profitable, but success should come with responsibility, professionalism, and respect for customers. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning unless significant improvements are made.

Ordered 3 different kinds - icy taro ball signature, signature black sugar boba and mochi milk - of shaved ice. Even at 1/2 sugar, our hands down favorite was the black sugar boba. The other two was just ok. I rarely comment on service but here, it was unusually slow and idk why the people working the counter seem harassed when there were not many people.

I like the ambience and there are plenty of options for drinks and dessert cravings. We tried mochi shaved ice with 1/2 sugar. . We liked it.

Overpriced, simple food. Nothing special—don't come with high expectations. I ordered plain doufu pudding (dou hua) with peanut. In Taiwan, it costs no more than $1.50. This place charges close to $12.00 + tip. Tip? It's self-service from placing the order to picking it up—I did everything myself, and they ask for a tip? OMG, what a rip-off place. Skip this place.

Hadn't had Meet Fresh in awhile. Two of us shared: large shaved ice mango/strawberry $16.25 boba $1 mini q $1.25 Free fruit sorbet scoop included. I had to ask staff in person to have the condensed milk on the side since the kiosk doesn't give you that option. Tasted ok. On the pricier end. Super busy for a Saturday evening. Seating inside and outside. Easy parking in the plaza.
