As a first-time homebuyer looking for a single-family home, and as a tech worker with a very busy schedule, I had little idea what to expect from the house-hunting and home-purchasing process. I was referred to Marie by my brother who was very happy with his experience working with her years ago. Marie was super helpful in flagging listings and touring properties, over a period of about 6 weeks before we made an offer. She was open about both pros and cons of different properties; I never felt I was being overly pressured and she was very understanding of my own evolving preferences. When we reached the point of making an offer, she guided me through the whole process, managing negotiations and flagging concerns. She handled all the logistics around inspections and showed up so that I didn’t need to take time out of my schedule, and helped me navigate the hurdles of setting up mortgage and insurance. Even after I moved in she continued to be very responsive in answering questions. I had a great experience with Marie and would absolutely recommend her.
