I came across M+R engineering consultants while doing a Google search for an MEP engineering firm to help me with MEP design for three new houses development as well as upgrade of a 1936 built house on the same lot. After having talked to several MEP engineering firms, I knew I found the right partner as soon as I talked to Thomas Matthews. He was extremely professional, knew exactly what I wanted and was very confident of what he could offer me. His written proposal was extremely professional as well. His team got on-board after the proposal was signed into a contract. They are extremely professional, knowledgable and thorough. (My project is somewhat complicated and on top of that I didn't have an architect when I hired them.) All MEP firms are busy these days and have long lead times but M+R Engineering found time to complete the project in time. They were extremely responsive and dedicated throughout the project. As a result, I have also requested them to redo the Title24 report even though I had already paid and received the Title 24 report from another firm. This is because I felt very confident of their work. Without their help, I don't think my project would have taken such a great shape. I feel that city would give me the permit without further questions.

I have two apartment bldgs in the valley that were built in the 1950s, and i recently found out how shabby and hazardous our electric systems were. Both bldgs had more electrical load than the ancient panels could safely handle, esp in the summers. Before we could upgrade the systems, we first needed to have electrical engineers assess each apartment to figure out how much electricity we were using. My general contractor said that M&R provides the most reliable service for electrical assessment, so based on their calculations, we were able to upgrade the entire system so that the buildings are no longer at risk of an electrical fire.

I have been working with M+R engineering consultants on a few projects for the last couple of years. It has been an amazing experience so far. They are always on top of their design deliverables offering valuable design solutions when needed. Their response to any questions from the architect or the city has always has been prompt. I am looking forward to working with them on all our future projects.

Our architectural firm, Diagram Architecture, works with many consultants including many MEP engineers. Nowadays everyone is super busy and getting professional services on time and within budget is a challenge. However, because M+R Engineering has a deep bench and even though they too are super busy, they have been able to accommodate us and exceed our expectations. It takes a whole team to bring a project to fruition. When M+R Engineering is part of our team, we don’t worry. M+R Engineering has earned their spot on our short list of preferred consultants.

I am a home owner for a remodel project, and I am impressed by how responsive M+R is and how they are able to go extra miles for their customers. At 4pm today, we asked M+R for an update of their plan and we hope to get it by noon tomorrow. Vishnu at M+R, empathizing that we have a tight timeline for permit resubmission, **worked over time to have the requested update ready at 7:30pm today**. Vishnu and M+R engineering consultants have definitely earned my trust by **putting their customers interests first** and we will use them again in the future.
