It has been about a year since our daughter, Ira, joined Learn and Play Montessori, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. She transitioned smoothly from Classroom 3 to 2 during the summer and now to Classroom 1 for the TK program, and throughout this journey, the care, structure, and learning environment at LAPMS Fremont have been excellent. A Special Note on Ms. Tina (Classroom 3): Ms. Tina is truly one of a kind--nurturing like a grandmother, yet firm and gentle in guiding children. She was always approachable and consistently prompt in sharing feedback after the school day, keeping us informed about eating, sleeping, play, and academic activities. She maintained the classroom with great order and cleanliness, and thoughtfully sent home all of the children's artwork in an organized way each week. Her attention to detail and best practices set an example for any classroom to follow. With her experience and genuine passion for teaching, we always felt at ease dropping off our child in her care. Ms. Tina tailored her recommendations based on each child's personality and progress, showing that she truly understood and cared for every student. She treated teaching not as a 9-to-5 job but as her calling, and it showed in everything she did. Acknowledgment for Other Staff: Ms. Pooja (Lead) : She manages the school exceptionally well, balancing the large number of students while still adding personal touches--like greeting each parent by name every morning. She ensures the campus, classrooms & bathrooms are tidy & clean. Spotless. She put incredible effort into organizing events such as the 100th Day of School, Father's Day, and Mother's Day, making them personal/memorable for both kids and parents. She also continues to creates opportunities for children to showcase their talents, helping build confidence and public speaking skills. We truly valued her openness to feedback and her commitment to implementing it. Ms. Lorena: Always friendly and highly responsive, she promptly communicated with teachers and ensured that children were set up for their appointments and specific needs. Also promptly posts weekly pictures on Facebook. Ms. Mahi and Ms. Kathleen: During the summer program, they went out of their way to make learning and play enjoyable for the kids, and their warmth and support made the program very special. We are now looking forward to continuing the same positive experience in Classroom 1 with Ms. May, Ms. Mo, and Ms. Radhika. Learn and Play Montessori Fremont has given Ira a wonderful start in her early education journey, and we are grateful to the entire team for their dedication, care, and passion. Highly recommended for the Montessori program.

I have my 3.5 year old here at the south Fremont campus for the past 2 years and the teachers are amazing and they even helped her potty train a lot faster and easier. They teach well and all the staff are very kind and sensitive to the children’s needs.

Our child has been going for more than a year now. Campus is newly built and nice. Teachers are great too. As the name suggests, they do make sure kids get adequate learning as well as playtime opportunities. Our child has become noticeably better at reading, writing and speaking over the past year. Special shoutout to Miss Mae, Miss Komal, Miss Pooja, Miss Isabel, Miss Christine, Miss Divya and Miss Radhika. They have all been wonderful teachers.

My daughter has been attending Learn and Play South Fremont for almost a year, and we are very happy with our experience so far. From the beginning, all of the teachers have been warm, friendly, and welcoming, which helped ease the transition into a new environment. During the first few weeks, when my daughter was understandably nervous, Ms. Isabel and Ms. Josephina went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and safe. They encouraged her to eat independently and shared daily updates and photos that reassured us as parents. Their gentle and nurturing approach reflects the true Montessori philosophy of respecting each child’s pace while guiding them with care. Ms. Josephina is especially kind and attentive. From what I’ve observed at drop-offs and pick-ups, she makes sure every child feels included and supported. My daughter loves her Spanish lessons and story time with her. As parents, we also appreciated how Ms. Josephina took the time early on to listen to our concerns and provide thoughtful suggestions to help our daughter adjust more quickly. Ms. Komal has been instrumental in helping our daughter develop independence and confidence. She encourages her to eat on her own, clean up after activities, and take responsibility for her belongings — skills that we now see her practicing at home, too. She has also sparked our daughter’s interest in early academics, especially writing letters and numbers, while keeping the learning experience fun and child-led. What we love most about this school is how the Montessori philosophy is woven into everyday routines. The children are given the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace, while being gently guided by the teachers. The hands-on STEM activities are particularly engaging and nurture genuine curiosity and problem-solving skills. Beyond academics, we’ve seen tremendous growth in our daughter’s social skills, independence, and love for learning. The administrative staff is also wonderful — always responsive and proactive in addressing questions or concerns. Overall, Learn and Play South Fremont has been an excellent choice for our family. Our daughter looks forward to school each day, and we are grateful for the nurturing environment that supports her growth both socially and academically. We would wholeheartedly recommend this school to any family looking for a true Montessori experience.

We have had a wonderful year at Learn and Play South Fremont. The admin team—Miss Pooja and Miss Lorena—are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making every family feel comfortable and supported. Miss Isabel is an excellent, calm, and patient teacher whose nurturing approach makes a real difference in the classroom. Miss Josefina is amazing—very friendly, positive, and always encouraging, helping our child feel happy and confident each day. Miss Komal is also a wonderful teacher who consistently shares helpful feedback and truly cares for each child’s growth and well-being. The only challenge is that the parking lot and walkways can be quite cozy, which makes drop-off and pick-up a bit tricky. Overall, the caring staff and exceptional teachers have made our experience fantastic—4 stars!
