I was especially impressed with how thorough he is, ensuring nothing is overlooked. He also has strong connections with specialists, which gives an added layer of confidence that you’re receiving the best possible care. I had severe pain below my right rib. Other Doctors I spoke to suggested broken rib. One Specialist suggested Gall Stones. Dr. Khetrapal evaluated me carefully and said it was none of the above and the pain resulted from bad sleep posture and will go away in time. As a precautionary measure, at my suggestion, he asked me to have an ultra sound to check for stones. Dr. Khetrapal was correct right from get go. I have no hesitation recommending him to my family.

Doctor Khetrapal is among my favorite doctors. He cares. And he always follows up on everything. He keeps a close eye on his patients and never lets them want for anything. Thank you, Doctor Khetrapal!

This doctor is by far the worst we've ever encountered when it comes to communicating with patient's families when someone is hospitalized. It is deeply troublesome especially since our family member is elderly and doesn't understand English very well and has mild dementia symptoms. If you encounter this Dr. at Washington Hospital, please request that your family member be cared for by someone else otherwise you will be in for a frustrating and frightening experience.
