My wife and I are both retired physicians who accompanied our daughter to Kaiser Fremont on the morning of Tuesday, July 29 for her elective surgery. From the first encounter with the happiest admitting clerk we’ve ever met through to our final encounter with her recovery room nurse we were very impressed with the welcoming and friendly manner employed by all. While waiting is an inevitable part of the surgical experience for family it was made much more tolerable by the comfortable waiting room (and also the nearby Starbucks). Nurses were clearly competent at their jobs and both the anesthesiologist and surgeon were very reassuring and unhurried while answering our questions. All told the entire experience was as good as it could be and all deserve kudos for maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout. Thank you.

ER doctors don't even visit for 8 hours or more. They constantly misdiagnose, leading to life threatening complications that could have easily been prevented. Nurses don't turn up when they are called for care. They don't even give the medications the patients need - ER patients were asked to use their own medications from home. Everyone will disappear for few hours during lunch, during evening hours, during the night and most of the time on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. You will not get any response from anyone. If you do end up at this hospital, you need to escalate constantly, chase and badger them to get even a bare minimum care.

I called the urgent care because I needed urgent care. They told me they don't have a doctor there currently (10 am weekday) and that I should call later. They had absolutely no interest in helping me, and were trying to get rid of me.

They took to long and also wasted our time my kids were sick and they took more then 3 hours just to call them in and an extra hour for the doctor to come
