My 4-year-old son had a dental procedure today at Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry, and I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience. Ace needed 4 crowns and 2 fillings, which meant going under anesthesia — I was extremely nervous as a parent. From start to finish, Dr. Yen (anesthesiologist) and Dr. Chang (dentist) were absolutely amazing. Everything went smoothly, and they made my son feel comfortable and safe the entire time. What really stood out to me was how empathetic and reassuring they were to me as well. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without rushing, and truly understood how scary it is for a parent to see their child go under anesthesia. They checked in with us before and even after the procedure via text, which made me feel so at ease and cared for. The entire staff was wonderful — so kind, patient, and helpful. One team member even walked us to our car afterward, which meant so much. And shout-out to Amy — we love her! This level of care, compassion, and communication is exactly why I love Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry. Such an incredible team and such kind doctors. Highly recommend.

If you have kids with Autism, anxiety or who are just scared of going to any doctor this dentistry is for you! Mission Hills location! We had such a wonderful experience. My children are on the spectrum, and the entire team was incredibly patient and understanding. The office is calm, the environment is quiet and clean, and everything felt very gentle and supportive—truly made a big difference for our family. I will only take them to this location with Dr. Avula! She is very gentle and patient with my daughter, and quick which is important for kids in the spectrum. Also want to give a praise for the dental hygienist for always being so patient with my kids. Choose Mission Hills location you won't regret it!

Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. My son is diagnosed with autism, so dental visits can be challenging and it’s not always easy for someone to check or work on his teeth. The staff were incredibly patient, understanding, and accommodating with him throughout the visit. I truly appreciate the care and kindness they showed us. It made the experience much easier for all of us. Highly recommend!

I took my two children, my 5-year-old and my 18-month-old, and had a wonderful experience. The staff and dentists were excellent with kids. My 5-year-old was very scared at first, but they knew how to calm him down and make him feel safe. He ended up enjoying the visit. My little one was also very calm during her check-up thanks to how gently they treated her. I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a great pediatric dental experience.
