Dr. Jandu is an exceptional Internal Medicine physician. He is compassionate, thoughtful, and truly listens to his patients. During a recent video visit, he took the time to understand our situation and went above and beyond to help our family. His professionalism, kindness, and patient-centered approach give us great confidence and peace of mind. We feel very fortunate to be under his care and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring primary care doctor.

Dr. Jandu was very thorough during my visit. He spends enough time to know my symptoms and questions and then follows up after visit to ensure that I see the specialist etc.

I had my first appointment with this doctor today and unfortunately the experience was not very satisfactory. During the visit, he mentioned that he is very data-oriented, which I appreciated in principle. However, it appeared that my prior medical history in the Sutter system was not reviewed before/while the appointment. Instead, new tests were ordered to gather data points. While I’m not opposed to testing, I felt it would have been more helpful to first review my existing records to understand the context before ordering additional tests. Another concern was around how patient concerns are handled. The doctor mentioned that because his assistant had told him I had no concerns, he would only listen to one issue “as a courtesy.” I had actually mentioned my concerns to the assistant beforehand, but I didn’t want to spend the visit debating that. As a patient, it was frustrating to feel limited in discussing my health concerns based on that misunderstanding. Overall, the interaction felt somewhat rigid and process-driven rather than patient-focused. I left feeling that my concerns weren’t fully heard. For that reason, I’ll likely look for another primary care physician moving forward.
