I offered an evening prayer at the Islamic Society of East Bay (ISEB). Overall, it’s a decent mosque and was open during odd hours, which made it easy for me to catch Asr and Maghrib. The masjid shares the same property as a church, and parking is ample, though it’s unclear if parking is divided between the two—clear signage would be helpful, especially during Friday prayers. They have wudu (ablution) facilities for both men and women. The sisters’ prayer area is upstairs and separated by a curtain. There is plenty of Islamic literature and Qurans available for reading, which I appreciated. I also liked the sign posted near the water fountain. One downside was that the ladies’ section was a bit dirty, which affected my concentration in sujood. Aside from that, it’s a welcoming mosque and convenient for regular prayers.

On ISEB’s website You can see everything but the most important thing that is Namaz timings is missing n if shown than it’s wrong timings for Fajr Salah. Even the monthly Calendar is also old. If u follow the Islamic centers namaz timing (Fajr) than 100% u miss the namaz. I think representatives should pay attention, Masjed n namaz is not just for their regular local areas residents but its also for travelers n new people in the area. If u reduce other advertisements n increase n make namaz timings prominent would be very beneficial for both local n non local Muslims.

My child was crying during the Jummah prayer and the person leading the prayer told me to leave kids at home when coming for prayers. I don't believe the religion preaches this so I'll make sure to go to a place where my children are welcomed.

Honest Imam, five times prayer, really organized and clean Masjid, have students and open to all kind of questions you have. I love the Masjid and management Masjid.
