Not a very fair or understanding company to work for. I worked for them for one day through a company called slingshot connections long story short slingshot did not let me know that HYVE was requiring new hires to do a two week TO month long training to go on the graveyard hours. I was under the assumption that I would be starting the graveyard hours as soon as I got hired on so to figure this out on my first real day of work was a lot because I have a kid and a schedule to adhere to for him. I asked the company about the training schedule, and if they can make any accommodations since I didn’t know ahead of time, they said no even though I showed them the emails that I received that showed that the training schedule was not communicated. Fast forwarding I had to quit obviously because I didn’t have anybody to pick up my son from school. I cleared up my schedule so that his mother could pick him up from school and I reapplied through a different agency. I get hired on they send me an offer letter again. I go to orientation last week Friday just for them to call the agency and say that I don’t qualify to work there. Here is where I have a problem with HYVE If information is not communicated correctly and accordingly, I shouldn’t be penalized and not allowed to work with the company because of the failure of others. That is not fair and it’s sending a very clear message that mistakes by the company through no fault of your own can and will hinder your employment with this company. I don’t think that’s a good message to send to people. If I would’ve had the information when I applied for the job before a offer letter was even sent then I would’ve been able to make the necessary arrangements, but I wasn’t giving that time to do it and I only had one option. It’s not fair. We’re all human and we need all available information to make the best decision for us going forward. I didn’t have that and by that standard I feel like I should be given a fair chance at employment.

This is a very poorly managed facility. Be prepared to waste a lot of time here. I’ve never experienced a dry van facility like this. they show no concern for drivers. Expect to wait at least 8 hours, so bring your own food. We will not be coming back.

Worse place for truckers, it is strictly appointment even though we came before our scheduled almost 10 hours delivery, they made us almost 2 hours behind our schedule to start unloading us. Our next load is cancelled because of this.

Truck drivers delivering to this location is at the back of the building. Please use caution, as the workers’ parking lot is directly opposite the docks. there’s portable restrooms available alongside the dock area. However, be aware that unloading here tends to be slow.
