We started off really strong with some delicious appetizers, but unfortunately things went downhill from there. We ordered the dahi puri and samosa chaat, and both were excellent. For the fried chicken, we ordered the Jakarta and Soulful Chicken. To our surprise, both were bone-in, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Even worse, the bones splintered into tiny pieces while eating, which really ruined our appetite even though the flavors were good. We also tried the Malai Kebab, which had a bit too much cardamom for our taste. The butter chicken was sweeter than we prefer, and the chicken itself was on the firmer side. The Hakka noodles were overcooked, the veggie fried rice was just okay, and the plain naan was good. The staff were friendly and the service was nice. I noticed another review mentioning that the restaurant smelled like raw poultry, and I would have to agree. We chose this place because of the high ratings, spent about $170, and unfortunately left still feeling hungry. Overall, we’re not sure we’d come back.

Dined at House of Raha with my family and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting ambience, beautifully designed interiors, comfortable seating, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it perfect for a family outing. The food was truly delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and presented thoughtfully. You can really tell that great care goes into both the quality of ingredients and the preparation. Their drinks menu deserves a special mention. The selections are unique and exotic, offering refreshing and creative options you do not commonly find elsewhere. What made the evening even more special was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. Overall, it was a memorable meal with great food, fantastic ambience, and excellent hospitality. I would highly recommend it to everyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

Me and my husband dined at the restaurant on a Friday. It was a last minute reservation and the host was very accommodating. Thank you so much for that! I see many reviews saying that they poured their heart into this. And we saw it. The decor was vibrant and inviting. They were an amazing host and their staff was equally welcoming. We tried a few things and being a Hyderabadi who craves a good aromatic biryani, I will debatably declare that their biryani is one of the best I have had in the Bay Area after trying every single establishment that serves one. We’ll definitely come back!

An amazing experience. Had this on my mind to visit and it didn't disappoint. The dragon chicken, malai kebab, tandoori chicken, drums of heaven, saptam chat and all the other apps were amazing. The goat biryani was definitely a hit and the laccha paratha was fresh. And finishing off with the kokumi drink, I'm ready to hit the sofa for a quick nap. Full satisfaction and will definitely revisit. The service was also impeccable.
