recently visited this Indian vegetarian restaurant and had a mixed experience. I ordered a chaat and a sandwich. The restaurant serves only vegetarian food, with no meat options. Unfortunately, the chaat was very disappointing—it had a strange and unpleasant taste, nothing like what I had heard or expected. The sandwich was okay, but definitely not worth the price. It was very basic—just two slices of toast, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato, and a small amount of grated cheese. For the price they charge, the quality and portion are quite poor. The service was also slow. The chaat was served first, but we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the sandwich, even after asking several times. The restaurant environment is decent, but not very clean, especially the women restroom, which needs more attention. Overall, I was not satisfied with the food quality, pricing, or service.

Honestly , food was delicious and really loved the fresh taste. I ordered pav bhaji and Chinese bhel. Both dishes were freshly prepared. I loved the ambiance and service was great. Divya was extraordinary and provided wonderful hospitality and service. Kudos. We will come back again

Nostalgia takes me back to India, food was really good. Their gobi Manchurian was the killer (unfortunately I just digged into it missing to take pictures). Overall food is really good for the price

Honest Restaurant offers a wide variety of Indian snacks, filling a gap that was really missing in the local Indian food scene. My favorite dish here is the Katappa sandwich—it's topped with cheese, though you can ask them to go easy on it. They also serve Jaljeera, a very common drink in India but quite rare to find here, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered dosa for my son, and it exceeded our expectations. Pav bhaji and sev puri were decent as well. Update: As we liked the restaurant we visited again on a Thursday evening. The food was at it's worst. The French fries with sandwich was stale. The Indo Chinese was no good, Gobi Manchurian was stale too. The promise of making fresh food very day faded away

Great place and the food was really tasty. We tried the Dabang Dosa - a must try. However, things are a bit slow over the weekend — our food took almost an hour to arrive. However, the overall experience was positive. If you want to have clean, tasty vegetarian food in Fremont, then this is a great place. Love the fact that they also have Jain and Swaminarayan options.
