The surrounding environment of this hotel is very good. There is a gas station and many fast food restaurants next door. There are also supermarkets nearby. It is very convenient to drive and walk. The front desk staff are very nice, especially the Hispanic girls and dark skinned girls. The daily cleaning of the room is very good, and the service attitude of the cleaning staff is also very good. It's a pity that breakfast seems to be the same meal every day. There's always chicken, sausage, scrambled eggs and hamburger steaks. Every meal seems a little too salty? The final regret is that the swimming pool cannot be used? And it seems like it hasn’t been built yet? Fortunately, the gym is very new, the equipment is new, and the environment is very clean. If I have another chance, I will choose this hotel. I hope the swimming pool is completed, the breakfast in the hotel can be richer, and the food is not so salty...

I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was a mix of pros and cons. Here is a breakdown of my stay: The Positives: Cleanliness and Comfort Room & Facilities: The cleanliness is good. Both the room and the general facilities were spotless, which I truly appreciated. Parking: The garage is very spacious and easy to navigate—a huge plus if you are traveling by car. Areas for Improvement: Technical Issues and Service Unfortunately, the stay was let down by several issues that showed a clear lack of attention to detail: Air Conditioning Issues: The A/C unit in my room could not be turned off via the control panel. The only way to shut it down was by manually pulling the fuses in the electrical box. This is highly inconvenient and not something a guest should ever have to do. Poorly Managed Breakfast: The breakfast service felt completely neglected. On several occasions, there was no coffee available for over 30 minutes, and there was no staff around to refill it. Similarly, once the fruit ran out, it was never replenished. Lack of Supervision: Overall, the service felt understaffed. There is a noticeable lack of proactive management to ensure guests have what they need during peak hours. Conclusion: The hotel has excellent "bones"—it is clean and well-built—but the management needs to focus on the guest experience. Having to fix your own A/C and waiting half an hour for coffee is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. I hope they address these service gaps soon.

Let me cut to the chase: 1. Hotel provided a wrong room key that caused I just walk into a room which is occupied with other guests (they are in the room at that moment). 2. Hotel over sold the rooms which they don't have; I booked a suite room and check-in online prior on Hilton App already and App assign 404 room for me, but they told me there are not enough Suite room for me when I arrived hotel, I can only change to Studio room with no choice. Detail information: I had an extremely disappointing and disturbing experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton Fremont during my check-in on May 2, 2026 (around 6 PM). First, the front desk staff was highly unprofessional. She was talking on a Bluetooth earbud the entire time while processing my check-in, making it unclear whether she was speaking to me or someone else. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a hospitality environment. Things quickly escalated into a serious safety issue. After verifying my passport, the staff gave me a key to Room 428. When I opened the door, I found that the room was already occupied by another guest. This is a major breach of privacy and security. Imagine someone entering your room while you are sleeping or not properly dressed — this could easily cause severe emotional distress or worse. When I reported the issue, the explanation I received was that the other guest had the “same name” as me. This makes no sense. A proper hotel system should clearly indicate that a room is already checked in and prevent duplicate key issuance. This was clearly a careless mistake caused by staff distraction. The situation became even worse when I was told that my reservation could not be found. I had already completed online check-in one day earlier, and the Hilton app clearly showed my confirmed booking for a Suite room, including an assigned room number (404). However, I was told that no Suite rooms were available and I had to accept a smaller Studio room instead. Even more shocking, the staff openly stated that the hotel is “always overbooked.” If that is true, then confirmed reservations seem meaningless. Selling room types that are not actually available is misleading and unacceptable. To make matters worse, no compensation or proper resolution was offered — only a downgrade in room type, even though my stay is for over 20 days. I have stayed around 70 nights with Hilton properties and was a loyal customer, but this experience completely destroyed my trust. Now I genuinely feel worried about my safety, wondering if someone could mistakenly enter my room at any time. Overall, this was not just poor service — it was a serious failure in professionalism, safety, and system reliability. I strongly urge management to address these issues immediately.

I came to this hotel for a business trip, and I can only say there’s room for improvement: 1. The air conditioner is quite noisy, which can affect sleep. 2. The housekeeping is a bit careless, mainly just taking out the trash and re-making the bed. 3. The breakfast quality is inconsistent—sometimes there’s fruit, sometimes not. I also got a bowl that wasn’t properly cleaned. 4. The elevator design is not very intuitive. A few days ago, there was even only one elevator in operation. 5. Parking spaces are quite sufficient, but there is always standing water in the parking lot. 6. The WiFi disconnects every 24 hours and requires manual reconnection, which is pretty annoying. 7. The hotel is next to a gas station, a fast food restaurant, and near the highway, which is a plus. 8.The showerhead easily comes loose, and it feels like it could hit and break the bathroom glass door.

Dear Hilton Homewood suite Fremont Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel and the poor customer service we experienced. Prior to our arrival, we requested an early check-in. We were advised by the front desk to call again on the day of arrival to check availability. Following those instructions, I called on the day we arrived. However, the receptionist, Jordan, who began her shift around 2:00 PM, informed us that she could not accommodate an early check-in and told us to wait until the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM. I explained the situation and requested any possible assistance, but Jordan repeatedly stated that she could not help. We were not checked in until approximately 3:10 PM. What made this even more frustrating was that rooms appeared to be available for booking online throughout the day, yet we were repeatedly told that no rooms were available for early check-in. Unfortunately, our problems did not end there. After checking in and attempting to rest, we discovered that the air conditioning in our room was not functioning. Given the hot weather, this was a significant issue. When I contacted the front desk, Jordan informed me that only the maintenance team could address the problem and that they would not be available until Monday. We had checked in on Saturday, meaning the issue could not be resolved during our stay. I then returned to the front desk and requested a room change. Since rooms were still showing as available online, I asked to be moved to a room with a functioning air conditioner. I also pointed out that air conditioning was clearly listed as an amenity when I booked the room. Despite this, Jordan again stated that she could not assist and refused to move us to another room. At that point, I requested a refund. Jordan agreed to process a refund but still did not offer a room change or any alternative solution. Instead, we spent additional time dealing with the situation while already exhausted from travel. Eventually, around 4:30 PM, another hotel was arranged for us, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to our plans. Throughout the entire interaction, Jordan was unhelpful, dismissive, and unprofessional. Rather than attempting to find solutions, her response to nearly every concern was simply, "I can't do anything." We also requested contact information for a manager or an email address to escalate our concerns, but she was unwilling to assist with that request as well. This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. Advertising a room with air conditioning when the air conditioning is not functioning is unacceptable. Equally concerning was the lack of effort to resolve the issue or provide reasonable alternatives. We expected far better from a Hilton property. I would appreciate a review of this incident and an explanation of how this situation will be addressed. I also hope appropriate action is taken to improve customer service standards and prevent future guests from experiencing similar treatment.
