While Dr MacCallum is clinically competent, I cannot recommend her due to her being available on Tuesdays and Fridays only. This creates a problematic gap in the care that she can provide, particularly given that the medications she prescribes may cause serious adverse reactions. I experienced a severe reaction to a medication that she prescribed, but I was unable to turn to Dr MacCallum due to her being unavailable on any day other than a Tuesday or a Friday. Let me be clear: my concern with Dr MacCallum has nothing to do with her medical expertise; rather, it is her practice model that troubles me. Prospective patients should be aware: if you require urgent consultation for whatever reason, she will most likely not be there to support you.

I’m very happy to have Dr Maccullam as my Neurologist. She truly cares about providing the best care for my neurological issues, making sure that I understand what is going on with me, next steps follow ups, makes sure I understand all changes with medication. Dr Maccullam also takes great time in answering my husband’s questions/concerns. She and her team are the best! I don’t have any concerns or doubts about the care she provides to me. She even makes me laugh. Who wouldn’t want to be her patient!!!

Dr MacCallum is wonderful neurologist. She listens to your concerns is empathetic and knowledgeable. I appreciate her reassurance. She makes you feel confident and optimistic Her problem solving skills are impressive. I highly recommend her.

Dr. MacCallum has been my neurologist for a few years now and she's the best. I came to her with debilitating migraines and she made it her mission to help me manage them.
