A True Hidden Gem for Authentic Indian Cuisine & Incredible Hospitality If you’re looking for authentic Indian food made with passion, flavor, and heart, this place absolutely deserves a visit. From the moment me and my wife Sév walked through the door, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that it instantly felt like more than just a restaurant experience it felt like family. The staff took their time explaining the different dishes on the menu, sharing details about the flavors, spices, and traditions behind each meal. We truly appreciated how patient, passionate, and knowledgeable everyone was. They even introduced us to the chefs, which made the entire experience feel personal and unforgettable. You can genuinely tell they care deeply about their food and every guest who walks through the door. The menu was absolutely incredible: • Shahi Paneer rich, creamy, and packed with flavor • Cauliflower Manchurian perfectly seasoned with an amazing kick • Nawabi Goat Curry tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection • Tandoori Chicken smoky, juicy, and absolutely delicious • White Rice fresh and paired perfectly with the curries • Indian Coffee smooth, bold, and comforting • Vada Pav crispy, flavorful, and unbelievably satisfying Every single dish was cooked perfectly. The flavors were bold, authentic, and unforgettable. You could taste the love and dedication in every bite. We had such an amazing time enjoying the food, laughing with the staff, and getting to know everyone there individually. Experiences like this are rare nowadays, and this place truly stands out because of the people behind it. This wasn’t just dinner it was an experience full of culture, hospitality, and incredible food. Huge compliments to the chefs and the entire team for creating such a welcoming atmosphere and delivering top notch service from beginning to end. Highly recommend everyone to visit, bring friends and family, and enjoy an unforgettable meal here. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon! 🙏🏼✨🍛☕🔥

I had a very disappointing experience with Hi5 restaurant. I ordered two paneer biryanis expecting the usual accompaniments like salan and raita, which are standard with biryani. However, there was no salan at all, and the raita provided was barely half a cup for two orders, which is completely inadequate. Without proper sides, the biryani felt extremely dry and difficult to eat. The taste itself was not good either. The dish was overloaded with masala to the point that it became unpleasant and even caused a burning sensation in my stomach. There was no option to select spice level while ordering, which is a major drawback for customers who prefer balanced flavors. Additionally, the quantity of paneer pieces was very minimal, making it feel like poor value for money. To make matters worse, the staff behavior during pickup was not welcoming or professional, which added to the overall negative experience. Overall, this was not a satisfying meal in terms of taste, portion, or service. I would not recommend this place if you are expecting authentic biryani with proper sides and balanced flavors

This place has the best food, best service and great ambience. The chef makes the best chicken biryani. I can say it is one of the most tasty and authentic Hyderabadi dum biryani I had in the Bay Area. Considering the fact that it is pretty new place, I have a strong feeling that Hi5 India is going to be the most talked about name in the region (if they don’t change the name in the future). Moreover, I had the chance to meet the most humble owners and chefs at the place and learned about the story behind the starting of this restaurant. That honestly elevated my overall experience and impression about the service and food quality. I also tried double ka meetha and it’s mind blowing. I wish I had taken a picture of the biryani we were served but I already finished it by the time I wrote this review. We’re going to visit here regularly from now.

I ordered the Hi5 Special Fried Rice, and it was very disappointing. The rice was clumped into boiled rice balls instead of being light and separated. It didn’t taste like fried rice at all—just plain boiled rice with only three small pieces of chicken. The quality and flavor of the rice were very ordinary and not enjoyable. I’ve attached a photo showing the rice clumps, and I would not recommend this dish to anyone.

We loved our casual dining experience here so much that we hired them to cater a birthday party. They helped us curate a balanced menu with ideal portions, and everything turned out perfectly. Their fresh, hand-stretched Malabar Parottas with Chettinad Kurma are truly authentic, and their Gobi Manchurian is easily the best in the Bay Area. Every dish had a great balance of spices and richness without feeling overly greasy. It was very family-friendly, too—the flavor profile worked for everyone, so we didn't even need to order separate meals for the kids. Highly recommended!
