I visited Gumagumalu last week for their breakfast buffet. We usually enjoy eating there, but this time the buffet didn’t have many options, and I didn’t feel like it was worth the price. That said, if you want to try authentic South Indian food and traditional dishes, this restaurant is still worth checking out.

Watched T20 World Cup finals today at this restaurant. They were very gracious to host this for us. The atmosphere was lively, watching the game on big screen TV. There were 100+ people. They handled the crowd very well. Their morning buffet was excellent, very tasty with so many items. They also had hot coffee and tea. Highly recommend GumaGumalu restaurant for their authentic Indian flavours.

My review is long time pending for this awesome restaurant in Fremont. One of the best finds, my wife and I love this place and their homely food. Starting from their weekend buffet and their non veg curry combo. All of their dishes have their homely touch which is want we were longing for. We have been so regular customers here and we got one of our family birthday event catered and it was a huge hit. We ordered for 30 people and the quantity was so much that we had guests pack food and we had so much leftovers, everyone appreciated the food and taste. Special mention to owner Vishnu and he was very warm and friendly. Best wishes for their team to reach great heights. Highly recommend this restaurant if you love Telugu food and homely cuisine.

I went for the weekend breakfast buffet. They had idli, vada, dosa, puri, mysore bajji, upma , peanut chutney , ginger chutney, sambar, 2 varieties of powders, ghee and dessert. Dosa and poori were served right by the time I filled up my plate and came back to sit. Refills were quick. I loved the food 🥘 tasty 😋, yummy and mouth watering 🤤 . I would definitely recommend this place for an amazing Telugu style breakfast.Fabulous experience dining in here.

Visited Gumagumalu for both their breakfast and lunch buffets, and the food was excellent. If you love authentic Telugu and South Indian food, you will really enjoy this place. In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated Indian restaurants in the Bay Area. The only thing that could be improved is the ambience. A few upgrades to the dining area would make the overall experience even better and help the restaurant get the recognition it deserves.
