Our daughter started going to Garden Playhouse Daycare when she was around 10 months old, and overall we had a very positive experience there. Since it is a home-based daycare, the environment felt warm, personal, and caring — almost like leaving your child with family. Miss Sarika and the teachers are very interactive, attentive, and genuinely caring with the children. We always felt that our daughter was being looked after with love and attention. This setup worked especially well for us when she was younger because she received more individualized care compared to larger commercial daycare centers. One of the things we appreciated most was the food. The meals were real, home-made food, which gave us a lot of comfort as parents. Another big advantage was the location — it was only a 5-minute walk from our home, which made daily drop-offs and pickups very convenient. We would especially recommend this daycare for younger children and infants who benefit from a smaller, home-like environment. The only downside for us was that there were more holidays and off days compared to commercial daycare centers. This may be common with home-based daycares, but since both of us work full-time, it was sometimes difficult to manage. Overall, we are thankful for the care and attention our daughter received at Garden Playhouse Daycare.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with this daycare center. The home-cooked meals with no outside snacks gave us great peace of mind, and Sarika is always responsive on texts. The app with daily updates and monthly photos/videos keeps us closely connected to our child’s activities. They offer a great mix of indoor and outdoor play, and we’ve seen amazing progress—by age two, our child learned alphabets, shapes, colors, and even to eat independently. Sarika and Farzana are incredibly affectionate, patient, and caring teachers. Happy to recommend them!

Our son has been attending Garden Playhouse Daycare for almost a year, from when he was 14 months old. He goes to the daycare with a smile everyday to Farzana and Sarika, even though he had some initial anxiety to get used to the place. Ever since he started the daycare, his sleep schedule is regular. Regularity in his schedule helped both of us (working parents) to plan the day. Sarika provides vegetarian food for breakfast, lunch and evening snack and takes good care of the kids. She also gives us parenting tips from time to time, which are useful for us as new parents. We recommend Sarika's Garden Playhouse Daycare if anyone is looking for a home-based daycare in Central Fremont.

My son started at Garden Playhouse Daycare when he was about a year and a half. I was so anxious to send him, but he has thrived at daycare. Sarika has curated an incredibly valuable and unique educational setting that encourages child development, peer interactions, and emotional support. Nutritious, homemade vegetarian food is prepared daily including breakfast, lunch and snacks. Monthly Google Share drives allow parents to collect video and photos of their child playing, making crafts, and overall having a great time. I know how scary it feels sending your child away from home for any period of time. I have never felt uncomfortable or worried to send my son to Garden Playhouse Daycare and I highly recommend this home-based environment for any child. My son now has a group of friends he loves playing with and the parents have a group chat to coordinate play dates.

We couldn’t be more grateful for Garden Playhouse Daycare and Sarika. Our daughter Anya started there at just 10 months old, and from day one, she was in the most loving hands. Sarika cooks fresh, homemade meals for the kids every day and even got a special feeding chair just for Anya. It meant so much to us to see that kind of thoughtfulness. Anya was always happy, well-fed, and full of smiles at pickup — we knew she felt safe and loved. As first-time parents, that peace of mind was everything. We’re so glad we found Sarika, and we’re excited for Anya to return soon!
