If you are looking for the gold standard for Korean food in the Bay Area, look no further. This spot has, without a doubt, some of the best banchan I’ve experienced - the variety is impressive, and the freshness is clear in every bite. The kalbi is truly phenomenal - perfectly marinated, tender, and grilled to perfection. Beyond the food, what really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The owner and the entire staff are incredibly kind and welcoming; they make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. It’s rare to find a place that hits this high a mark on both culinary quality and genuine service. Highly recommended!

20$ Seafood pancake, barely any seafood. Thick Greasy flour. no side dishes. Specs of tiny burnt pieces dusted everywhere. (must not be good for health). Sauce too sweet. When I spoke to the lady, I couldn’t get any side dishes to make up for it. Though, the kitchen was closed. It smelled good from outside, but the food was so sad. I came here years ago, and had good memories of it. But seem to have changed. I really regret spending 20$ for greasy flour. I’m hungry, but went home and ate a banana instead. I should have read the one star review and not buy this. It gave me an authentic Korean household cook feel, initially, but now I just feel crappy. The last two times I purchased from here was disappointing.

I went to this place for the first time last weekend and I did enjoyed the food a lot. The service was good and the food was also decent. They have so many different kinds of banchan, and they all tasted fresh and delicious. The hot stone bibimbap was good and not oily. We also ordered a kimchi pancake, I thought the flavor was good but since it was on the thicker side, so it lost a bit of the crunch and it was very filling. Overall, I like the food here and will definitely go back.

This is our go to place for korean food in Fremont for years. The food has been consistently good. We always order beef bulgogi & tofu soup combo for our family. We love the beef bulgogi. It has sweet savory sauce with tender beef. The tofu soup can be hit or miss. We got seafood white soup (not spicy) for our kiddo - it was good but I personally prefer medium spice for more depth of flavor. The only downside was the parking. The parking was limited and got crowded during lunch or dinner time. So, most of the time we parked on the street nearby or we just do take out.

So disappointed! My daughter is visiting from back east and I thought this place would be great for her to have again since she’s been away for a year. What happened??? Been eating here regularly for 15 years. Ordered take out. Seafood pancake had barely any seafood! It was greasy and chewy, we literally threw it out after a few bites! Kimchi wasn’t even marinated! 😝 Mushrooms in the bibimbop were so salty they were inedible. Tofu Soup was okay. Sides used to be tasty..now they are strange tasting and not delicious as they once were ..NEVER going here again!
