As a parent and teacher I was suprised by the low reviews! It is interesting that the low reviews seem only to be listening to or referencing FUSD board propaganda. Teachers in Fremont Unified School District care very much about their students and FUDTA helps them! Many teachers go above and beyond to see all of their students succeed and grow. No, I do not mean on standardized tests. How many people reading this have careers whose managment "strongly suggests" them to use their own money to improve their stake holders (our students) or "ask" (beg) for parent donations for supplies to run or improve their offices (our classrooms). Please read both sides of an issue and make a well informed comment or none at all before reviewing anything.

Too bad there is no option to give 0 star. Consistently using dirty tactics and hostage taking tactics to get what they want. The union is always asking the teachers to do the dirty work of pressuring the parents to support them. 2 years ago they boycotted science camp school trip. Now they are blocking school reopening. When FUSD send out survey to parents on whether to continue distance leaning or hybrid, a lof of parents are receiving emails from teachers either saying they wont return no matter what or kids have a high chance of getting reassigned. This is completely unethical and textbook voter manipulation technique. Fremont parents are not taking this lying down anymore. We need to fight for our children. Do your job or move away.

FUDTA is Fremont Educators who join together to improve the conditions for teaching and learning. We work collectively to achieve our common interests. Some of our common interests are: 1. Fremont students deserve highly qualified and committed educators to care for them. 2. Fremont students deserve safe and healthy learning environments. 3. Fremont students deserve individual attention. We are strong advocates because we care deeply about education in Fremont.

I would use ZERO star if that is an option. There are many fantastic teachers in Fremont, and unfortunately they are represented by this woke union leadership. Just check the demands by the union leaders for re-opening the schools. (1) Multiple training opportunities for staff on restorative justice. (2) No law enforcement presence on campus. (3) Additional staffing allocations for social workers to be maintained until at least June 2023. None of these has anything to do with Covid-19 related safety & health concerns.

What? No option to give zero stars? One of the worst and most obstructionist teacher unions around. Will not hesitate to sacrifice student interests to push their own agenda. I don’t even know if it serves the interests of the very teachers it claims to represent. Fortunately most parents are capable of differentiating between excellent individual teachers and this union.
