I’ve had a great experience with Fremont pet hospital! The staff is always kind, caring, and professional. They truly love animals and treat my dog with so much patience. I really appreciate that when my dog isn’t feeling well, they often manage to give me an appointment the same day. The clinic is clean, organized, and the doctors always take time to explain everything. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate veterinary team! 🐶

I'm not one to post reviews ever really but I just had a pretty bad experience in the past. I usually go to warm springs vet but my dog had a pretty bad stomach problem overnight and I was worried so I made an appointment with them the next morning since my vet was closed on Sundays. Was easy to make and was prompt and helpful which I give them credit for. When I went in with my 6month old bully/cane corso puppy the next morning I was quickly taken in to see my vet. This happened quite a while ago so I don't remember exactly but i could swear she seemed afraid or avoidable of him. He's a big boy for sure, about 45lbs at 6months and he likes to nibble on everything and excitable as puppies are but not a mean bone in his body. She did his physical checkup in probably about one minute or less and walked over to the opposite side of the room while talking to me. I get if vets don't always interact a lot with the dogs who are easily excitable but she seemed like she was completely avoiding him which I felt really bad for so I kept him on a short leash, but I felt uncomfortable with how uncomfortable she seemed. They told me that I should get a biopsy of his stool (strongly reccomended) and medication for intestinal inflammation which ended up coming to about $450. I took him to my vet later the next day to be sure and they said the meds were okay but with further physical checkup seemed otherwise normal. I'm not sure if she was scared or just not in the mood but I have no intention of ever coming back or recommending the clinic unfortunately.

This vet hospital has been a true blessing for our family. Odin has received excellent care, and Ember has been exceptional. She is attentive, compassionate, and genuinely goes above and beyond, especially during the hardest moments. Thank you for showing up for us with such care and integrity. We appreciate you more than we can say!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. They seem to care only about the money not the animals themselves and the wait times are long. We brought our dog here because he was not eating and he was throwing up, along with drinking a lot of water (which he would throw up) and would stand in his water bowl repeatedly. He was conscious and percieved his surroundings, but was less energetic than usual. They took him into another room and gave him x-rays and bloodwork for $1,300 (*which, yes we agreed to) and brought us into a different room where we were told he had a blockage in his small intestine, but would need to get stronger/get hydrated to get surgery or an ultrasound. They said they were closing soon and are not 24-hrs so our dog would not have someone watching him if he stayed overnight there. So we said we would transfer him to a different veterinarian and they said okay and that they would send the other place the test results (which they didn't send until around 10-15 minutes later). A few minutes after they rush over to us and say to hurry over to the operating room because our dog's heart had suddenly stopped/failed (suspicious). We go into the room and they are doing cpr, injections, are putting in an iv, and have a tube of oxygen multiple inches away from his face (part of the bill too) and our dog regains conciousness. The cost doubles to $2,026.45 (and before they passive aggressively respond, yes we did sign the bill because we were needed to get our dog out of there and to the other vet, we were also worried about our dog above all else). We rush our dog to the other vet office and they quickly identified a large tumor in his stomach (which Fremont pet Hospital did not identify) and honestly told us that our dog likely wouldn't live much longer / get better and that they could try possible treatments, but they would cost us a lot of money and the likelihood that he would live much longer and without pain was extremely low so, putting him down was a very viable option, whoch we went with. A couple days after the appointment we disputed the cost of the $726.45 cost of the cpr and treatment with the credit card company, Fremont Pet Hospital's response said that we signed off on cpr, when we didn't. (Even though the emergency allows for them to do cpr without asking, they shouldn't lie and say they did ask when they didn't). Overall, a bad experience and bad vibe.

We’ve had several bad experiences with this hospital. In total, we visited three times over the span of two years. This place feels more like a business focused on selling services rather than showing genuine care or sympathy toward my dog. The first time, they performed a fecal test for our dog but never updated us with the results. I had to follow up by email a week later, and they only gave a brief response over email. The second time, the vet rushed us into doing a $700 radiology test. We ultimately decided not to move forward because it felt very pressured. The third experience was the worst. The doctor performed a foxtail removal surgery on my dog, but operated on the wrong spot, so they had to perform the surgery again. Afterward, the doctor invited us into the room to visit our dog, and during that time, the technician accidentally dropped the anesthesia mask. My dog immediately woke up and started pulling back. It was very traumatizing for us to witness. During the first surgery, they also kept trying to upsell additional procedures such as dental cleaning and neuter surgery. The only positive experience we’ve had is that the front desk staff has always been responsive. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one.
