I just want to share my honest experience about a church I attended about two years ago. I’m not an active member anymore and haven’t really stayed connected with anyone there since I moved, but my time at that church was truly unique and, looking back, I can see it was part of God’s specific plan for my life.If you’ve ever had a real encounter with God I mean a supernatural encounter then you know when the Spirit of God is present somewhere. It’s kind of like tasting real coconut water straight from Jamaica vs getting it from a grocery store you just know the difference. When I first walked into that church, even in the middle of my own mess, I could feel that the Spirit of God truly dwelled there. The pastors are genuine shepherds. Their heart is to help believers grow, live transformed lives, and walk in the fullness of God’s blessings. I think what makes them stand out is their willingness to hold people accountable in love something our Western culture church’s often struggles with. A lot of people today want a message that only says, “Jesus loves you,” but don’t want to hear about growth, correction, or discipline. If that’s what you’re looking for, this may not be the place for you. This church meets you where you’re at, but they don’t let you stay there. They lovingly point out areas that need change and actually walk beside you through that process financially, physically, and spiritually (emotionally, not as much in my experience). During my time there, they planted so many seeds in me. I learned how to read the entire Bible in a year, how to understand what I was reading, and how to build a daily prayer life. Through that, I learned to trust and submit to God again willingly, not forcefully and I saw real blessings come from that. But I also had a lot of inner healing to do. There were times I got offended when they corrected me, even when they were right. Once, they told me I was lying and honestly, I was but I couldn’t see it at the time because I was so used to defending myself. Looking back, I can see how my insecurity and past hurt made me react that way. It wasn’t the pastors; it was me. I was battling old trauma, pride, and wrong thinking that made me take offense to truth.Even though it was hard, I stayed because I knew God didn’t want me to leave yet. And I’m grateful I did. I eventually met my husband there, and shortly after, I moved to another state. Once I got settled and started receiving deeper healing at my new church, I began to realize just how many seeds from Fire God Church had taken root. Now, I can see the fruit of what they poured into me. Their teachings about discipline, truth, and transformation finally make sense. They taught me how to build a real foundation in God’s Word, and that’s what’s been carrying me through my healing journey. I know some people have called that church a cult and I honestly have to laugh at that. They never forced anyone to stay, and they never gained anything from helping me. Everything they did was out of love and a genuine desire to see people’s lives changed. They aren’t there to tickle your ears; they’re there to help you grow and walk with God for real. So if you’re considering visiting, I’ll just say this: decide in your heart before you go that you truly want to serve God not halfway, not lukewarm. This isn’t the type of church where you can just sit back and stay the same. But if you’re ready for real transformation spiritually, physically, and even financially and you’re willing to be challenged and stretched in love, I absolutely recommend this church, especially for people who are broken and hungry for change.

There is so much love in this church. People here are family and welcome everyone who comes. I've received a lot of healing here and many other people have also received healing. Pastor Steve always gives me wise counsel with business, school, and personal choices. I've never experienced this much love and presence of God until I came to this church. I'm very grateful to God that He brought me here and that I get to call this church my home.
