We enjoyed the mountain view and the flowering trees in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, and delivery carriers. Their free internet was not high speed but enough for our need. We are happy with the amenities and the fact that basic kitchen ware were provided. There is free coffee and granola bars or equivalent in the morning. Hotel staffs were transparent, friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping was about half a month, which is what we liked. We did not want to be disturbed most of the time. The building itself is a bit old, but everything worked for us. It is a pet friendly hotel, which could be a plus or minus for different people. We can hear dogs of my neighbor bark sometimes at night but we were not bothered.

This was the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms felt out to date. The stove didnt work well. We had to call maintenance several times. Sometimes it would work other times it wouldnt. The microwave didnt work well either. It took sometimes 5 min or longer to warm something up and even then it wasn't hot, just warm. The sink in the bathroom wouldnt drain correctly. It took several min for it to go all the way down. Sometimes when we called maintenance they didnt even show up so we just stopped calling all together. There were loud people at all hrs of the night. We had a gentleman who stayed next to us who had some type of mental issues because he would be yelling and screaming to someone but there was no one in his room. He would do this at 1 in the morning Sometimes 3am. He would open and close his room door several times without leaving. We called the front desk and they didnt do anything. They told us he was a guest living there and there wasn't much they could do about it. One night I was alone in my room and he kept kicking and screaming and slamming things and I got scared. I didnt feel safe and left to go downstairs to the front desk and let them know what was going on. They said they would call the police but I never saw the police come. I told them I was scared to be in my room because of the way this guy was acting. They didnt seem to concerned about it which didnt make me feel good at all. How can you not be concerned of your guest is safety or them being able to sleep well when they have to be up early for work. If it could give 0 stars I would. They never offered us a discount or anything. Just several Im sorrys which doesn't do much when it comes to your safety and sleep.

Do not stay here! There are signs that the pipes are old and have lead and the rooms smell awful, card keys and counters have grease all over them and the kitchen and door knobs have sticky brown grime. The front desk staff are very nice, but that’s the only perk.

*Rooms very basic -think studio apartment. *House keeping bi-weekly (yup... once every two weeks). *Need towels, tissue paper, bar of soap...go to front desk. *Need fresh towels. Take yours to laundry cart near office. Exchange for a plastic bag with clean towels.

Grateful for Last-Minute Stay, but Not Ideal for Remote Work I’m really grateful to Extended Stay America for accommodating a same-day, last-minute booking. It was affordable, easy to reserve through an agent, and the check-in process went smoothly. The parking was convenient, and the overall facility felt clean and welcoming. We paid $220 on a Tuesday night for two queen beds for 3 people. Because of a concert and several conferences nearby, there were no nicer hotels available within 15 miles, so I was thankful to find this option for me and my sisters after our dad’s funeral. As for the stay itself—there were a few normal hotel inconveniences: we could hear a crying baby through the thin walls multiple times during the night, and a group of workers gathered for coffee around 5 a.m., being quite loud outside our door and in the foyer. Nothing too unusual, just typical noise you might encounter at any hotel. However, my biggest issue came after checkout. I had paid to upgrade my Wi-Fi so I could teach my Zoom class, but I was disconnected right after checkout time—even though I was sitting quietly in the common kitchenette area, with no other guests around. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never been kicked off Wi-Fi immediately after checkout, especially when using the upgraded, paid version. Overall, I appreciate having a safe and affordable place to stay in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone who needs reliable Wi-Fi for remote work or teaching. Be prepared to use your phone’s hotspot if your tasks extend past checkout time.
