My car is an engine swapped '91 E30, which means almost nothing about it is straightforward. Every time they dug into the car they uncovered another surprise from previous owners, but instead of taking shortcuts they took the time to explain what they found, walk me through the options, and help me make smart decisions. Over the course of the project they've handled everything from smog and A/C repairs to a 5-lug conversion, suspension, brakes, differential work, exhaust, fuel leaks, and countless smaller issues. What I appreciate most is that they don't just make things work, they make them right. Anthony, Angelo, Derek, and the entire team have been incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and honest throughout the process. If you have an older BMW, a modified car, or a project that needs real expertise, I can't recommend Edge highly enough.

Super High Value Experience. My car honestly feels brand new. EDGE took my car seriously, and corrected several issues with the suspension and brakes, which are modified. The steering feels much tighter, and the engine is also running better than ever. They even provided really great and thorough cleaning service. This shop is NOT for someone who is careless or cheap about the health of their vehicle. I have much more confidence in my cars long term reliability. I feel better if anything on my car needs love, this is a safe place to go. I recommend this shop to anyone serious about maintaining their car to a high degree and looking for the whole package in one stop.

I took my E46 M3 to EDGE Motorworks for a diagnostic check for some issues I have been having . Their detailed check addressed my issues and found other worn components that I wasn’t aware of. Derek was pleasure to work with , his communication on what needed to be done first and others that can be done at another time was appreciated. I will be definitely going back to EDGE again.

I drive over an hour round trip to take my M4 to Edge because they’re honest, knowledgeable, fair, and very experienced. I’ve tried a hand full of other indy shops in the Bay Area and can say with confidence Edge is exceptional among their local competitors both with customer service and overall experience/expertise. If you’re looking for a trustworthy indy shop in the Bay to do quality work on your BMW, I am not aware of a better alternative.

I own a rare 2006 Mini GP1 that the previous owner didn’t really take care of. I was referred to Edge from NorCalMinis as I wanted to find a mechanic familiar with this rare car. Derek and team spent two days thoroughly inspecting every aspect of the car. They provided me with a detailed overview with photos/videos as well as recommendations. The work done was amazing and they have earned my business!
