I am extremely disappointed with the front desk staff. They need proper training on how to communicate with and treat patients respectfully. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and made the experience very unpleasant. If they believe they are overqualified for a front desk position, they should find a job that better matches their attitude. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. If there is no improvement, I will file a complaint with the appropriate authorities, including the City of Fremont.

The receptionist at the front desk needs an attitude check. They had a check-in process online which I took the time to complete ahead of my appointment. But when I get there the receptionists hands me the same exact paperwork to fill out. I tried to tell here that I already filled out this information online and she very rudely says "No you didn't". So yeah, don't bother filling out the online check-in forms since they will make you do it all over again. The nurse that checked me in was wonderful. She took the time to listen to my concerns. However, I specifically asked her if we would be able to discuss all my issues at this appointment and she said yes but that was not the case. I had 2 related skin concerns and a third unrelated that I wanted to discuss. I saw one of the PAs and her patient bedside manner was ok. But when I tried to discuss all my skin issues, she told me we could only discuss two in one appointment. Never in my life have I heard that excuse before. When I asked her why we could not, she said "Because patient's get confused". That felt like a load of horse crap - she couldn't be bothered to take 5 minutes to discuss my other concerns. Especially frustrating when I spent a total of 10 minutes with her and paid about $300 for my appointment (in-network, high deductible plan). I got the sense that she just wanted me to book another appointment so they can get more money out of patients. I am giving two stars because I do feel she gave me good medical advice and prescriptions that helped. But I will not be returning. I'll take my money to a doctor that will take the time to listen to ALL of my concerns.

My Dr referred me to this office. They called me to make an appt. I drove over an hour to get to the appt only to be told they didn’t have an authorization #. Why did they call me to set an appointment without ensuring they had all the information needed to proceed with the appt?? I took the morning off work and drove over an hour for nothing. What a waste of my time.

I made an appt with this clinic because they told me they were in-network with my insurance. They advised me to call 3 days before so that they could run an eligibility check and when I called 3 days before, they confirmed in-network status. Thus, I kept my appt. After my appt, I get hit with a full-cost bill stating my insurance was out-of-network. When I called the clinic, no one takes accountability and they said my insurance “seemed” to have been in-network but that the insurance was lying to them. Why do you even have a protocol in place for an eligibility check? As a patient, I am making decisions based on the information I am provided. If you do not know, with certainty, if someone’s insurance is in-network, DO NOT give them false information. This is highly unprofessional and scary because you are now giving false information regarding someone’s medical care.

The quality of care has gone down exponentially. I was unable to get a re-fill of a prescription that I'd been taking for nearly 2 years. They used to offer Zoom appointments, but that's no longer the case. Extremely unhelpful and it takes ages to get someone on the phone.
