Dr Sylovia Hoang is very money minded and very rude. She shows discrimination to people of different origin. Clearly. She gave two opposite answers for the same report / results at two different appointments. Prescribed something without informing what needs to be monitored before the prescription. Asked patient to take the injection on his own at home. Pharmacist was shocked when he heard this. It has to be administered under by a medical trained ppwraon. Things that she can do by phone such as see the blood work results and prescribe or reduce dosage she won’t. She want patients to come in for every small tinee question. Obv she makes $$ I think lost Drs accepting medical have this tendency. Have been noticing it more often now. So hard to find REAL Drs who work with empathy and concern.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctor. My elderly mother deserves compassionate, attentive medical care, but instead she was treated with impatience, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of empathy. The doctor barely spends any time with the patient, rushes through appointments, and acts irritated when concerns or questions are brought up. If you ask any questions about the patient’s health and treatment, the doctor replies with annoyance and rude behavior rather than professionalism or compassion. It is unacceptable for a physician, especially one treating elderly patients, to make patients and caregivers feel like a burden for simply trying to understand medical care. We left feeling unheard, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone looking for a physician who listens, communicates respectfully, or genuinely cares about their patients.

One star is too high a rating for Dr. Sylvia Hoang! Today I brought in my 96-Year-old mother because her primary of 16 years had just retired. Dr. Hoang didn’t even greet us or look at us. She kept looking at the screen. Without examining my mother, she stated that she has too many medications and started questioning her prescriptions. She said she wouldn’t refill or would decrease dosages of lifesaving meds that have kept my mother alive for years and have been confirmed by many specialists , including during her stays at Washington hospital. Her tone didn’t allow for any argument: she said she was being scientific! I cut the visit short and retrieved the paperwork l had submitted. My poor mother said that she was probably too old and the doctor just didn’t want to treat her. Both my parents were doctors, and I have had my fare share as a patient. I cannot believe that Dr. Hoang is allowed to be near vulnerable patients who don’t know better. She is dangerous!

A doctor not worth to have all the patients she has. Doesn’t know what their conditions and situations without reading her notebook which she spent more than spent 80% on than keeping making eye contact with patient. She too arrogant to give a response to patient’s request even via her assistants. Really not worth being a doctor thinking she’s above all her patients.

She has terrible bedside manners. She did not even introduce herself to me or my husband. Through talking to her I came to know my condition was of no concern, but I did not know that. Thats why even though I have no health insurance I came in and paid out of pocket. I feel like because it was of no concern she was very rude. She even rolled her eyes in front of us. I had not seen her in 5 years, although she is my primary care physician but she did not mention any routine check ups that I am over due for. She did not address my high diastolic blood pressure (91) that is abnormal for me. Then when she left the room there was nothing said, she just walked out. No goodbye. Will not visit her again. I have never wished 0 out of 5 stars was an option until now, because I definitely would have given her 0. Also parking lot is awfully small with mostly compact spaces.
