I really wanted to find a church home at Destiny Christian Fellowship. I had been attending services online and decided to take the next step by getting involved in a local church community. I first filled out a Connect Card, but no one ever contacted me. Thinking it may have simply been overlooked, I followed up at the information kiosk. The person there took down my information and assured me it would be passed along, but again, I never heard back. I also tried to join the Women of Destiny group, which meets on Zoom. Unfortunately, the website did not list a meeting ID or clear instructions for joining. I sent an email to ask for help, but I never received a response. Later, I attended the ministry fair, hoping that would be another way to get connected. This time, I did receive a reply, only to learn that volunteering requires church membership. After multiple attempts to get involved—through the Connect Card, in-person follow-up, email, and attending the ministry fair—I was left feeling discouraged and unwelcome. I understand that churches can be busy, but for a place that emphasizes community and connection, the lack of follow-up was disappointing. In the end, I took it as a sign that this was not the right fit for me.

I live stream services and they are fantastic! God is truly leading this part of the world body of Christ. Pastor Paul is a good under Shepherd and I love 1st lady Meredith and the praise team.May our Lord continue to bless them.

Very welcoming and inclusive to people attending online. Pastor Paul preaches in an understandable way and knows how to get serious points across without talking down to people. Lady M is good at making everyone feel cared for, the worship music is fantastic, and the prayer is powerful.

What a wonderful church - I wish it was closer to my home. If you haven't listened to Pastor Paul Shepard on the Destined for Victory podcast or his online videos/audio, I highly recommend it. It's on my top 5 ministry podcasts I listen to all the time. it will bless you mightily to start, because this pastor teaches God's Word! and makes sure he addresses how it must be applied practically for heart and mind transformation in Jesus. This is a fun, loving, and dynamic church congregation. Don't believe people who knit-pick on faithful ministries where the Holy Spirit is working powerfully in people's lives. One pastor doesn't have time for personal appointments with everyone, esp with so many people wanting to get counseling from him. We have many ministers in the church in a division of labor to accommodate for that so that all God's people labor in ministry for each other and we are not overwhelming just one person. Please folks, be gracious when you come to this church with unrealistic expectations on its leaders and people. Go there to humble and submit yourself to God.

Pastor Sheppard (the comedian) is one of the GREAT Pastors that I have come across. The DCF family is also friendly. I have enjoyed the few months I have been going. Great place to be.
