Had a wonderful experience at Deccan Morsel. The Irani tea was perfectly brewed—rich, flavorful, and authentic. The Bun Masala was delicious with just the right balance of spices, while the Bun Malai was soft, fresh, and paired beautifully with the tea. The Paneer 65 was the highlight for me: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. The food tasted fresh, the service was friendly, and the overall ambiance made for a great snack-time experience. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving authentic Deccan-style snacks and tea. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!

Great recommendation by a local! Came into this place after I was recommended to it by a family friend. He is from India, which is a bonus considering that this is a Indian restaurant. The place is clean, will organized, and open. They recently got bigger. Love to see locals and ethnic people at a restaurant because it is a green flag, and it gives a sense of authentic food . This place was no exception. As soon as you walk in your order and the hostess receives you with a smile and great hospitality. I ordered the wrong kind of tea and he gave me the right one for free . I had this saffron tea in the chicken 65 . The saffron tea was perfect, perfectly balance between Tea, milk, and spicyness. The flavor blends perfectly to give you a delightful experience. I’m still yet to find another saffron chai tea that matches the quality in flavor of this one! I also had the chicken 65 which was perfectly crispy tender on the inside in the right spice ! I could tell that the kitchen knew what they were doing ! Will come back whenever I’m in the Bay Area again. unmatched experience !

If you're craving Hyderabadi comfort food, Deccan Morsels in Fremont is definitely worth a visit. The real star for me is the Rumali Roti with Chicken 65—the paper-thin, soft rumali is perfect for scooping up the crispy, spicy chicken, and every bite is packed with flavor. It's one of those combos I keep going back for. Don't skip the tea with the malai bun either. The bun is soft, buttery, and pairs beautifully with a hot cup of chai. My only small gripe is that the tea is a bit sweeter than I prefer. A little less sugar would let the tea's spices shine even more.

Excellent place for some evening snack. Highly recommend their rumali roti and chicken 65 combo. Great flavor, delicious in taste and finger licking good. The Irani chai taste great too. Definitely my goto spot for some quick bites.

The wrap I had was perfectly cooked with a tender, well-seasoned filling and a soft, lightly charred flatbread that held everything together without falling apart. Portions are generous, spices are balanced (not just heat for heat’s sake), and you can tell real care goes into the food. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and even when it’s busy, the experience feels worth the wait. If you’re craving real Indian street-style flavors done right, this place is a must.
